Cars I have owned
« on: May 21, 2009, 01:02:17 PM »
Since the new gay guy wants to gush on and on about his Mustang, here's another opportunity.

Make a list of all the cars you have owned in your lifetime.  I'll start:

1) 1968 Ford Falcon
2) 1971 Ford Fairlane
3) 1965 Ford Mustang
4) 1980 Chevy Monte Carlo
5) 1979 Buick Regal
6) 1986 Ford Thunderbird
7) 1987 Ford Ranger
8) 1985 Pontial T-1000
9) 1990 Honda Accord
10) 1994 Honda Accord
11) 1996 Ford Ranger
12) 1967 Chevy Stepside
13) 1987 Honda CRX
14) 1997 Honda Accord
15) 2004 Nissan Frontier
16) 2006 Toyota Sienna (I mistakenly said Sequoia yesterday)
17) 2007 Toyota Camry
18) 2008 Toyota Camry

That's absolutely ridiculous to go through that many vehicles.  And there are one or two I'm pretty sure I missed in that mix.

Favorites:  65 Mustang and 67 Stepside

Worst (by far): Monte Carlo

Most dependable: Anything by Toyota

1)  1995 Honda Civic with a 10" bass bullet and 15" blades, bitches

2) 1998 Isuzu Rodeo

3) 1999 Nissan Altima

I'm pretty sure that I will successfully skip an entire decade of cars before I purchase my next one.

Favorite: the civic.  it was a g-ride, and the front seat was perfect for some reverse cowgirl fucking.

Worst: the rodeo.  piece.of.shit.  broke down all the time.  wobbled on the road going over 55 mph.

Most Dependable: tie between the nissan and honda.  they just won't quit, no matter how bad I treat them.

1. 1976 Chevy Nova
2. 1977 Chevy Chevette: The cheapest piece of shit known to man.
3. 1983 Chevy Monte Carlo

I drove company cars for about 15 years then  started purchasing again.

2000 Chevy S-10
1998 Honda Accord
2003 Ford Expedition
2001 Ford Expedition: I currently drive this ragged out, but paid for piece of crap.

Now, like Ogre, my wife always arrives in style.  Currently sporting the 09' Maxima. I don't give a rat's ass what I arrive in, just so I arrive.

While I am obviously not nearly as old as Kaos...I have gone through a few vehicles in my time too.

1)  1978 Firebird Formula (charcoal with the rear air shocks, and racing tires...but a 305 engine and 2 barrel carb)  Looked great cruising, but I would get blown away every time I tried to race from light to light.

2)  1984 Z-28

3)  1986 Grand AM SE

4)  1991 Firebird - cherry red.  Got three speeding tickets in a year and a half...so it didn't last too long.

5)  1994 Explorer Sport

6)  1996 Dodge Ram extra cab - Inspired...I shit you not...by Paxon's ride in Twister, except that it was green.

7)  2000 Nissan Xterra - POS

8)  2003 Ford F-150 Crew Cab

9)  2007 GMC Yukon

Favorites:  '78 Firebird and the '86 Grand AM

Worst:  By a large margin, the Xterra.  A stinking pile of shit.

Most Dependable:  tie bewteen the Explorer and the Yukon(knock on wood)

1) 1988 Nissan Sentra -  I totaled it

2) 1985 Nissan Maxima - I totaled it too!

3) 1986 or 87 Chevy Corsica - Biggest POS that GM every rolled off the line I spent more time working on it than I did driving it. I finally blew that bastard up. Driver window wouldn't roll down and a state trooper chewed my ass out when I didn't have my window rolled down when he pulled me over.......bastard!

4) 1987 Isuzu Trooper II - Loved it!  Stout for a 4cyl and 4WD Low could pull like a mother.  Backseat laid down  and I always carried a sleeping bag and blanket for off road time with teh ladies, drove it almost all the way through my college career until I found a mud hole I couldn't get through and ripped the tranny into shreds trying to get it out.

5) 1995 Nissan Maxima - Good car, traded it in on #6

6) 1999 Nissan Maxima - I loved that car, but sold it and bought my wife's CRV

7) 1995 Isuzu Trooper - Hunting vehicle mostly, traded it in on #8

8) 2002 Nissan Frontier - Good truck, I abuse the hell out of it and it still goes.

9) 1999 Nissan Altima - Bought for gas milage, can't complain, it gets me to work and back and I like the Frontier I have never done anything major to it other than normal maintenance.

10) 2006 Honda CRV - Wife's vehicle. No complaints on it either.

Favorite and Most Dependable: 1987 Trooper

Worst: The Corsica.

2001 Toyota Tundra
2007 Toyota Tundra

Yeah...I'm only 24, so that explains the short list. Although there is a good chance my list will look the exact same 8 years from now.

I love both trucks, and neither one has had the slightest problem so far.

1994 Mazda B2300 Pickup
1992 Mazda MX-3 (with 2 Kicker Competitions, mind you....yes this was high school)
1990 Mazda Miata (say what you will, I dated the hottest chick when I drove this POS)
2000 Mercury Cougar
2002 Ford Explorer Sport
2004 Ford Explorer
2005 Chevy Tahoe

I love the Tahoe.  I'll drive it until the wheels fall off.

Not sure I'll get the years exactly right...

1979 Olds Delta 88...the passed down family cruiser.

1980ish Toyota Corrola

Another 1981-83ish Toyota Corrola, but a little sportier model.

1985ish Toyota Celica.  (Pretty cool car at the time, except it was brown)

Mid 80s Honda Civic

(Probably missing one in this time frame)

1988 Isuzu Trooper (Great Truck, bought used, sold it to buy engagement ring and buy the cheaper next vehicle)

1988 Ford Ranger 4x4 (used, went through 2 engines, and 3 rear ends in this dog)

1995ish Honda Accord (Loaded, real nice car, bought for wife, and I got her...)

1990ish Toyota (Some little supposed to be sporty 2 door thing I don't think they make anymore, didn't drive it long before I got...)

1995 Isuzu Rodeo (First new car I ever bought for me, it sucked!)

1997 GMC Z-71 (The first vehicle I ever picked out ordered exactly as I wanted it, and bought brand new...a damn drunk driver pulled in front of me and it got totalled out, but insurace helped me get...)

1998 Chevy Z71 (My fave ride of all I've ever owned.  Navy Blue, Tan Leather, Big V-8, all the bells and whistles plus some added step and bed rails)

Divorce...

1998 Jeep Cherokee

2002 Ford F150

2006 Chevy Trailblazer

(Currently) 2004 Chevy Tahoe
