I hate all you guys.

I really want to go, but I'm having to choose between the Seattle-Atlanta game on the 30th and the Peach Bowl.  I've got sideline passes lined up for the Seahawks game, so I think -- as much as I hate it -- that I'm going to pick that.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

Yes, indeed, I have heard you say it repeatedly (and loudly) while you were stone sober.

For some reason I recall a midget on a bar being involved with one of Garman's calling out a DFW...although I think we were all quite iniebriated on that occasion.

All I know is the midget hollered to a Mexican to "turn his damn stereo down" and then flicked a lit cigarette at him.  Good Times!

I didn't see much of the report, but is TT going to run the spread for the bowl game? I heard something about it.

They are going to mix in some of it, but it would be impossible to implement the entire offense in a couple of weeks.  Expect to see a drive or two of the HUNH offense.

So what's everyone doing New Year's night?

So far I've heard cool spots:
Stats, Jocks & Jills, Sidebar, and just whatever I can find in Underground.

Anyone got specific plans?

So do each and every one of these blow?
http://www.underground-atlanta.com/nightlife/kennys-alley.html

I went to these bars during their inception for the Peach Drop in 2004/5.  It was fun then (multiple bars with a New Orleans feel...carry your beer around, drop in a bar to slap a hot waitress's ass, then go to the next one) but I think they've kind of taken a turn for the worse.  Unless you have a bullet proof vest, I would stay away and do something in the Midtown or Virginia Highlands area.

Fuck. Surely the majority of the Auburn Nation will be sticking near the Georgia Dome, right?
That was our plans. Not to ride anywhere. Our hotel is less than a mile from the dome. I figure our options are probably limited for parties that don't involve advanced tickets.
Also I figured if there's typically shady folks around, say Underground, that will be cancelled out by the Peach Bowl crowd looking for some place close to the game so they can actually get there before midnight.

You probably will be right about the cancelling effect on the Underground, but I still think your best bet will be Jock's and Jill's in the CNN center.  Decent food and drink prices there and it will be slizzammed for Chizzad, thereby increasing your chances for a DFW's New Year's screw kiss.  It seems that Auburn folks end up there too.

Unfortunately so.  I've had to get an extra bed and food to accomodate.  They are going to the game though and we are going to the Bucket Shop in Buckhead...which is an excellent "Auburn Bar" for those of you looking to watch the game in Atlanta if you're not going.
