John "Stump" Thrower is a True Auburn man.

He was the attorney that held some checks from a uat booster made out to Gene Jelks.  He then handed them over to the NCAA, as well as other Information regarding uat violations.  After it was found out, by the REC "the KKK in business suits (Stump's words)", they nearly ruined his life.  He received more than just death threats....he was actually shot at.  So, he found himself at the bottom of Early Times, divorced and contemplating suicide.  He knows what's going on with All of the uat Major Violations, but he now knows better than to be the one to Blow the Whistle.

John Thrower has gone on record about possible Bama boosters getting into big time trouble with the university.  He also says to read the AJC over the next few months as that is the most likely media outlet to first break the story on Bama. 

You sure this guy is a blowhard?  I'm really ready for something legitimate to come out.  I don't think we're going to hear the end of the rumors until they die over time or become reality.
