Did anybody else notice......

CBS stepped all over their dicks trying to get the game on the air.

I was listening to the Auburn network with the TV on mute as usual. I noticed that CBS went to the "CBS Sports" screen while the open kickoff and the first 5 minutes of the first quarter rolled by. I can only imagine the blasphemies being directed towards CBS and TV sets across the state by irrate bammernecks.

CBS even managed to screw the GT faithful from seeing the celebration in Athens as they cut that game off with 2 minutes to play.

Anybody else notice? Or was it just the CBS affliate out of Huntsville that was screwed up.


I noticed last night that the ABC or NBC affliate was already pimping that they had the SEC Championship game.

They continued the game in Florida and cut it off as soon as it was over. They actually held the AU/AL game back till about 3:45pm. Georgia game ended about 3:50 I had missed the first 4 minutes of the Auburn game. However, did it really matter, probably the only 4 minutes during the game that I wasn't extremely pissed off.

I had to watch ALL of the stupid GA - GT game, plus about a BILLION commercials before they switched over about 5 minutes into the game... I was not happy.
