Animal Noises and Other Cat Ramblings
« on: October 17, 2019, 02:54:06 PM »
Note: I'm bored as hell since the program that has all our case files is down.  So, I figure I'll ramble a while. About cats.

We've always had stray cats show up at our house.  We've lived there about 12 years and have probably had 6 or 7 different ones take up residence over the years.  With the exception of one that we found out in the road after tangling with a motorized vehicle of some sort....and losing, they all hang around for 6 months to a year or two.  Then they just disappear.  No goodbye.  Not even a note.  Just, "Hey, where's the cat?"  We have woods next to our house so we figure maybe a coyote or a bobcat whipped that ass.  BTW, we found about an 8 foot gator in a little creek right down from our house this weekend, so maybe he chomped our pussies. Either way, every time one checks out, it's always been just a matter of days before another one shows up out of the blue.  "Hey man, I heard you guys have a vacancy?"  Get em' a rabies shot, put out some food and a bed.  Instant outside buddy.

We're dog people but we enjoy having a kitty in the garage.  Keeps most of the woods critters out the area. After our last one kicked the bucket, we had one show up, but he's just a drifter.  A loner.  And a loner's gotta' be alone.  He stops by for a bowl of Friskies every now and then, but then he's off to other cat adventures.  He's solid black from head to paw. I named him LaStrayvious.  Last night, LaStrayvious had apparently been tracked down by a jealous boyfriend or jilted she-pussy, because we heard the distinct and somewhat horrifying sounds of two cats squaring off to throw paws.  If you've ever heard that sound, you know what I'm talking about.

I opened the back door and stepped out on the screened-in porch, looked out in the yard and sure enough, Strayvy and another feline were about to do battle.  I called out to him and the other cat bolted over the wall.  Snagette had just walked out, sees him and says "Helloooo"  Now, I've seen videos on the U-Tubes that show cats and dogs "talking", but I have never witnessed it in person....until last night.  I'll be gawt damned if that cat didn't walk up to her and say "hello" right back.  Actually, it was more of a "Herrooo".  When we stopped laughing, we both said it about 10 times and that cat answered us every time.

You know, when I bought that weed, I didn't think it would be very good.  Was I ever wrong.  Anyone have pets that talk or do quirky shiot?

My doctor told me I needed to stop masturbating.  I asked him why, and he said, "because I'm trying to examine you."
