Roseanne Barr (and I find her to be abrasive, obnoxious and low class so it pains me to defend her) lost her show, her career and her reputation because she -- a comedienne -- made a tasteless twitter joke about a black woman looking like a monkey.  (And frankly she did resemble the monkey in question)

Meanwhile, this assclown faked a hate crime, lied to the cops, defamed the president, sparked the potential for racial attacks/retaliation, cost the City of Chicago tons of money in investigative work and legal fees and he's all gucci?
