Former Auburn RB Peyton Barber reveals why he declared for the NFL Draft
TALAL ELMASRY
February 24, 2016 @ 3:17pm

Everyone was a little surprised when former Auburn running back Peyton Barber declared early for the NFL Draft. Now, we know why and it’s a pretty good reason.

At the NFL Scouting Combine, Barber told the media that his reason stems from the fact that his mother isn’t in a good spot right now.

Auburn RB Peyton Barber reveals "my mother is homeless right now" in answering why he came out for draft.

Can't you declare for the draft (but not get an agent) and if your not drafted you can return? Or something like that?

My doctor told me I needed to stop masturbating.  I asked him why, and he said, "because I'm trying to examine you."

Since declaring means Barber's eligibility is up, couldn't AU step in and help a brother/mother out?

Surely to goodness there's a bagman with a few extra prepaid Visa cards just laying around that could perform a philanthropic act of kindness.

If he had gone to bammer, his mom would not be homeless. She would be house sitting a multimillion dollar home and getting paid for it.

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.
