Auburn
- So we got no defense. Do we?
- I think that was a bit more of a testament to what Spurrier was playing for. He's still one of the best offensive minds in football, and it looked like the Florida of old. Throwing down field. Trick plays. Risky calls. Going for it on 4th down.
- Our defense allowed what? 4? 5 4th down conversions? What's the score if we stop those? I mean, we didn't. But at least we were in position to really beat them handedly. Our offense was unstoppable. One or two stops and this is a 21+ point victory.
- Our defense is prone to big plays. Was evident in the Arkansas game. Definitely evident now. This scares me against a team like Alabama who has guys that can burn down field like Cooper.
- We've still played through one of the toughest schedules in college football and are 6-1. Best part is I don't feel like we've played our best game yet. Here's to Gus being able to continue to make this team better and better, like 2013.
South Carolina
- Was this it for Steve? USCe was supposed to be the it team in the East this year. They lose some of those playmakers for next year and he doesn't seem to have that 2nd string quarterback that would be ready to take over.
- It looked like Spurrier really wanted this game. After going 0-5 against Auburn since being at South Carolina, it looked like he threw the whole book at us. He's 0-6. He'll most likely never beat Auburn again.
Alabama
- Let's be honest. They're quickly becoming one of the scariest teams in the SEC. A QB that can run. Playmakers at receiver. A few big time running backs and a Nick Saban defense. Still not the Alabama that we've seen over the last five years, but I wouldn't be surprised if Alabama got into the playoff or won the SECCG.
LSU
- A young team that's getting better. Big win for Les Miles whose mother passed away Friday evening.
Ole Miss
- They are who we thought they were. Bo Wallace is still a chump no matter what kind of Gameday specials they do on his fucking haircuts. He's a punk bitch who storms off the field before the end of a game. LSU folk are saying he got chewed out by Freeze because he wouldn't stop getting into shouting matches with LSU fans in the stands.
- That Landshark defense is stout, but LSU exposed a bit of their weaknesses. LSU was able to run up the middle on them. Can Auburn?
Miss State
- This is a very good football team, but I'm getting really tired of the "DAK PRESCOTT RUNS FOR 7 YARDS; HE'S JUST AS GOOD AS TEBOW AND NEWTON!" comments. He's a very good quarterback. He's not a legend. Sorry.
- Josh Robinson is on steroids. His voice is high pitched, and name me the last SEC running back that could break 9 tackles on a consistent basis. Sorry, I'm not buying that he's not juicing when he's carrying six SEC defensive players on his back down the field. Not even Juice King Trent Richardson could do what Robinson is doing.
Oregon
- Sad that Oregon will get a free ticket to the playoff. California was running and passing all over this Oregon team. Who's California's OC? Tony Franklin.
Final Thoughts
- Texas A&M scares me more than Ole Miss. I don't think Ole Miss has the players to outright beat us. If we come out flat for another away game, I'll be really worried. I think our offense is hitting its stride. It's not as potent as 2013, but we're finding out what works for us.
- But our defense is porous and prone to big pass plays down field. That's A&M's mojo. Sumlin'll be licking his chops. I foresee the final of that one being something like 49-38. Hopefully with us winning.
