The #6 for us doesn't surprise me but Bama being automatically put up there is....oh what the hell.  It's business as usual.  I've seen them #1 in another poll.

I understand our ranking.  No problem with it.  We have a killer schedule this year with adding a trip to KSU, replacing a shitty UT with a top 10 USCe and our last two games against UGA and UAT on the road.  Plus, I think the rest of the country still thinks we "got lucky" last year.  Hell, we did to an extent but you don't win championships without some luck.

It's business as usual. Quite frankly, because I like being like Frank, I could not care much less. How does it matter? We take care of our business and let the chips fall. We do what we're capable of and we can play for it all again next year, quite possibly in a rematch.

But it's still an unfair advantage that "because they're Alabama" is enough of an excuse for a team in complete re-build mode with a 3* backup transfer QB to justify Number Fucking 2 in the country.

Meanwhile we truly are in the rare returning & reloading year, and we get bumped down four spots from where we ended last year? Irrational. Swap us and Bama and that list makes sense and is based on SOME logic besides "Well, but Saban."
