Today, it was announced by the UCA (Universal Cheerleaders Association) that Aubie has placed first in the video portion of the National Mascots Competition. The video portion of the contest accounts for half of the final overall score, which puts Aubie in a confident position to win his eighth UCA title, the most for any mascot.

Here is the actual video that was used in the competition.

We all laugh at this guy, but he will be around a while. He did something out of the ordinary that got him noticed. And it is funny.

In that same vein, my cousin's husband had his pic on an AU ticket stub. he was at a game last year with a group of friends and somebody took a pic that was used on one of this year's tickets. he was pretty much front and center. My cousin had it enlarged and framed. Now that would be something to have on the wall.
