In his first day of Congressional testimony, Gov. George Wallace reiterated the claim made by his Mississippi counterpart that the civil rights movement had been infiltrated by Communists.
Wallace said Fred Shuttlesworth and Martin Luther King Jr. both associated with known Communists.
The nation was also on the brink of "civil warfare" because "Negro leaders have now pressured the President into the ridiculous position of placing his stamp of approval on mob violence and rioting."
He was 100% right. The Rosa Parks Museum openly celebrates the communist connection between Parks (hardly a little old lady with sore feet), King and the communist party.
