New Orleans Saints' Mark Ingram, Victor Ellis collide during OTAs; Ingram runs free, Ellis injures on June 12, 2013 at 12:51 AM During Tuesday's OTAs at the New Orleans Saints facility, linebacker Victor Ellis had to be helped off the field after colliding with former Alabama running back Mark Ingram.According to NOLA.com, Ingram took a swing pass, then collided with Butler near the sideline.Ingram continued his run, but the linebacker remained on the turf.Head coach Sean Payton told reporters the two players just banged knees and expects Butler to be fine."You kinda saw a little mini-collision," NOLA.com's Larry Holder reported on Black & Gold Today. "You weren't sure what to make of it because Mark Ingram kept running and yet Vic Butler kinda stayed on the ground."Holder also said Ingram still has some work to do to live up to his first-round billing."He's been kinda in the background a little bit," Holder explained. "Not just today, but throughout camp with him taking a lot of second-team reps with Pierre Thomas, and Darren Sproles really taking first-team reps. ... It is something for him that he has to live up to that first-round billing, and we're still waiting to see that. ..."But he has some work to do."
It's bad enough that the Saints are putting bounties on opposing teams, but now on their own players? Is there no end to their cheating ways?
