Jamie Mcmurray apparently drives the Auburn car which I had no idea even existed. Also I believe they said it's just a Talladega sponsorship.

Wow. Double whammy for the rednecks there. Auburn car wins. And dale jr loses.

Great publicity for us as well. Pretty cool.

Don't get me wrong, lot of Bama shit down here. But if I were ever going to make a case that Auburn has as many white trash as Bama, I'd start at Dega. I've worked the last 6 races and a shit ton of Auburn fans can be seen at every turn.  Especially after the game yesterday.

Don't get me wrong, lot of Bama shit down here. But if I were ever going to make a case that Auburn has as many white trash as Bama, I'd start at Dega. I've worked the last 6 races and a shit ton of Auburn fans can be seen at every turn.  Especially after the game yesterday.

No you're right. There are a lot of both. I'd say it was 2/3 bama Saturday. But did see a lot of auburn fans as well. That place is one big assed party regardless. Saw one drunk as shit lady leaving the grandstands going down the big ramp, pants were falling off her ass and two guys were having to hold her up. Yep, big Bama shirt and she was cussing out some imaginary person. It was kind of funny. And in another way I felt sorry for her.

We were working the race, and ended up getting put on a security detail in the garage on Saturday.  They put me right in front of the Auburn car.  Talked to the some of the crew that said one of the Allison's wanted the hood of that car after the race.  Here are just a couple of pictures I took with my phone as they were testing the engine.
