If we had landed Russel Wilson, we'd have beaten Clemson, and had a chance against Ark. and UGA.

Agree, Clemson still ate our D alive, but with Wilson we might not have stalled and stayed on the field more, which would have kept their O off the field.  The Arkansas game was within reach until a pick 6 and a shitty no holding call on a 92 yard run that broke our back.  If that holding is called I believe it would have been closer, we might not have won, but I think it would have been closer.

Would Wilson have audibled to hand-off to Dyer on 3rd-and-1 immediately following Clemson's score to make it 21-14?  To me, that hurry-up 3&out (with a going-nowhere roll-out on 3rd and short) was the tipping point of the game, and in retrospect, maybe the season.

Up 14-0, they score 14-7, Auburn scores 21-7, they score 21-14 after a long drive (10+ plays?), and seemingly faster than a TV timeout the punt team is back out there (which includes several of the starting defense).  Just seemed to be no time to catch a breath and get "tudored" between that second Clemson score, and what soon became their third TD possession.

He may have and he may not have.  With a player as dynamic as he has been, we might not have been in that position for that one play to have been a back breaker.

Watching the game on my DVR, I've noticed something...Oregon doesn't travel for shit, not even with their new baddass unis, not even when Pasadena is closer to Oregon than Glendale is. They just don't travel. Espn has a mic next to the Oregon band...it's easy to see, because Red sticks out against Black, Hunter Green, Yellow, Green, Yellow / Black, Yellow / Green or Hunter Green, Silver, Houndstooth, etc...Oregon had one Endzone and parts of the side, Wisconsin had their Endzone, parts of one side and all of the other side.

You didn't watch the same game I did.  They had pretty well close to half of the stadium.

You didn't watch the same game anyone with eyes watched.

15 year old girl who knows nothing about football wanders through the room and comments "why is almost all of the stadium wearing red and only a few wearing yellow?

Even the Oregon sections were lit up with enough red to make the yellow look pink.

They do not travel well.

^^^This^^^

It looked to me like Oregon had one corner and a couple of other sections together lit up in mostly yellow.  Otherwise, the stadium was a sea of red.  I knew the badger, badger, badgers traveled well...but they put the ducks to shame.

Maybe I was drunk.  Looked like they came close to a half and half split, but maybe not.  I saw red sections, green sections, Red with green, green with red.  Fuck, who gives that big of a shit?

Once again I would like to thank those in charge that Prowler is not in charge of uniforms and reiterate that he never be allowed to make those decisions. I do not want our team to look like Power Rangers. Amen

Pretty similar to the division I remember in Phoenix last year.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

Very similar.

And no Auburn wouldn't look like Power Rangers...If I was in charge of the uniforms, we'd look like the fuckin Grim Reapers, the opponents would piss their pants when Auburn comes running outta the tunnel through a wall of fire while Hells Bells is blaring from the loud speakers...All In All Black with orange #s, no names on the back or decals on the helmet (except for skull helmet stickers, on the front, to signify players that have been injured by the team).

If I was the HC we'd run the Power I, no passing, no FGs or Extra Points (those scholarships go to killaz on the Defense), Onside Kick every time, Blitz like crazy on every play (have the defensive players screaming, as loud as they can, as they make their way through the blockers & devour the ball carrier).

Also, roughing the kickers lands the player an extra skull sticker. At Halftime, we don't leave the field, we stand there, seething, waiting for the second half to start.
