Gati/Ward trilogy are/were three of the greatest boxing matches I have ever seen.  Only topped by Israel Vasquez and Rafael Marquez.  The Holyfield/Bowe and Ail/Fraizer trilogies wer fantastic as well.   All of those were all out wars.

Was living in Australia when I was a kid and watched Ali beat up on Jerry Quarry and then lose to Joe Frazier on a beat up black and white TV, probably no bigger than a 20 inch with a tinfoil antenna. 

The Frazier fight I remember everybody in my house being adamnatly against Ali.  Wasn't sure why, but we celebrated when Joe won. 

I remember it just starting to get cold there.  We had to build a fire in the fireplace before the fight. 

Not sure about the time difference so we could actually have been watching a replay for all I know.  I just know we didn't know who won when it came on.  Wasn't like there was an Internet so I could go look it up.
