The "Duck Hunt" T-shirt is a hit with Beaver nation.  This shirt, as mentioned in previous threads on the X, has been well received.  It could cross over to Beaver nation...replacing Aubie with Bennie the Beaver.  Obliviously, the wording will need to be changed too.

Amazing how that never dawned on them, as their biggest rivals. How Auburn fans are the first ones to make the Duck-Hunt correlation is astounding to me.

Moral Victory PAC 10 Championship Parade...I assume it was this past weekend.  There is a video as well but not worth watching.

Quote
EUGENE - The Oregon Ducks football team, spread over two flatbed trucks, rode into the Eugene Park Blocks Saturday morning providing the crescendo to the Celebrating Champions Parade.

It didn’t matter to the thousands in attendance that the Ducks weren't triumphantly toting the BCS national championship trophy they failed to capture Jan. 10 in Glendale, Ariz., where they lost to Auburn 22-19.

The fact that the Ducks had made it that far and brought positive attention to the area was enough for these fans as they celebrated the university and dozens of other positive entities that help makeup the communities of Eugene and Springfield.

"As the speaker for this group I can't tell you how much it means to this football team, the support that we get from this community," Oregon coach Chip Kelly said to the crowd at the conclusion off the parade."It's not like this anyplace else in the country."

The parade began at about 10 a.m. near the Oregon campus and west down 13th Ave. to Kincaid Street, north to 11th Ave., west to Oak, then north to 8th Ave., ending at the Park Blocks at about 11:45 a.m.

The post-parade ceremony included performances by the UO Gospel Singers, directed by former UO running back Andiel Brown, as well as the student a capella group On the Rocks.

"We have so much to celebrate about our wonderful University of Oregon and our whole community," Eugene mayor Kitty Piercy said to the crowd prior to the Ducks taking the stage. "I thank the University of Oregon football team for giving us the inspiration for this event. And for giving us so much joy, excitement and so much pride all through the season."

The parade included representatives of 49 different groups, including 20 programs representing the University of Oregon such as the College of Education and the Arts and Sciences department. Other entries included ATA Martial Arts and the Cal Young Middle School Band.

When the trucks carrying the players arrived at the Park Blocks, fans greeted them with a huge ovation. Many ran into the street to get closer to the trucks.

The players exited the vehicles and found their way to the right side of the stage where they could view the ceremony.

Joining Mayor Piercy on stage were Springfield mayor Christine Lundberg, University president Richard W. Lariviere and athletic director Rob Mullens.

“The real source of pride for all of us, for me personally as well, is how this football team and the entire athletic program represent the values of the university and the values of this community,” Lariviere said. “Innovation, irreverence, stubbornness, scrappiness, character and integrity. And we have an attitude that exceeds our size. We’re grateful for what the football team has done for us for bringing the attention of the entire country unto this university and community.”

PARTY CITY USA! Way to Go Ducks, Oregon is the true National Champions! Those hillbillies in Auburn can believe whatever they want, we know who the true Champs are.

A second place parade? Are you kidding. Only in Eugene. Uncle Phil never celebrates a second place market share. You should learn a lesson.

So they had a parade celebrating that they lost? What a bunch of fucking losers. Simply solidifies the stereotype I have of those PNW weirdos.
