There was an NFL lockout and all the SEC's underclassmen returned next year?
Bama and MSState destroyed the Michigan schools today. I like the chances of LSU, us and yall winning our games. The SEC West alone could have 5 teams in the top 15 in the final rankings if the rest of us win out.

The NFL Lockout won't be announced until after the Draft.  So, there'll only be speculation until then.

They'll have agents telling them everything is fine, while the coaches will be in their ears telling them to stay (Ahhhmmm, Coach belittle).

*Correction*
The Lockout decision will be sometime in March, the Draft will be the 28th-30th of April, I think.  The NFL decision will be made after the College player's deadline to declare.  If I remember correctly, if the player doesn't sign with an agent, he can come back and file for reinstatement with the NCAA.

It would be irresponsible for college coaches not to warn the underclassmen thinking about declaring early. You're taking a risk leaving early, and if there is a lockout, there more than likely won't be any mini-camps, etc, to get you ready for the NFL. That certainly doesn't help either. Usually Saban recommends leaving early if you are projected as a first round pick. This year he is advising guys projected as top 15 picks only to leave early. I don't see how that is all that unreasonable, or how Saban is being self-serving as you seem to imply.
