I agree, Richrod is done....but I'm going with "Suitcase" Bobby Petrino to Meeeechigan.  That would be a Great hire for them.

Boartitties knows that Coach Petrino is a perfect fit for what the PTB at Michigan wants.  If they call, Arkansas will have to come up with a lot of money.

Damn...forgot about him.  They better not put all their eggs in Harbaugh's corner, because the NFL will be calling him soon, if they haven't already.  I'd go with Petrino, 'cause he ain't going back to the NFL.

Congratulations to you on the Hog victory.
But you've been talking up Malzahn for a head coaching job since he arrived. He is too smart to take a dead end like Vandy. I think the guy could get a west coast, Texas, or Florida job with patience. That would suit the main element right away with his reputation for high octane offense. Helps when attracting a staff too.
I think it was Gus himself that said he would look for a head coaching job when the time was right when he took this job. I think the iron is hot this year.

Of all the teams discussed, I think WVU would be the best one to jump on at the moment....

Vandy is a lose lose...

Miami may TOO big of a gig for a guy who has been in D1 only about 5 years....

WVU is a great place to win but not so much where the expectations and glamor are abound.

True Miami is huge especially when it lacks the facilities as has been mentioned by the talking heads. How has it that those that revere the place have let it slide so far for so long? Coaching there and actually being THE MAN there is quite different, especially now, without the benefit of just being handed the mantel and continuing a run at titles each season.

WVa, IMO is only better over Colorado by locale and athletic human beings within driving distance. Pat Dye was a lock for Wyoming. Best move he never made.
Can Richrod return?

Will Muschamp is a good study as is Chris Petersen. One is just beginning and the other can almost have his pick and neither want to become Terry Bowden, Jim Donnan or even Bob Davie.

Yes, as well as other jobs...Harbaugh is probably the #1 "big time program" coaching prospect out there.  HC experience...good resume and pedigree, and proven he can win.
