So when the score was 44-17, the game was over...but the 2nd and 3rd teamers couldn't keep Ole Miss' 1st team outta the endzone.  I guess 14 points, after the game was basically over (garbage points) made the difference in a lot of voters minds.

We started from further back and have more quality wins. The Ducks have beaten two (2) ranked opponents but I suppose beating a good USC team reciprocates in some kind of newer math. Who knows, Chattanooga might be the secret formula that cracks the case of the braindead pollsters and the ill fed computers. Get some skreets on that will ya?
