There are two ways to approach a cupcake game like this.

1) you can try to run up the score to make a “statement.” That’s what bama did on Saturday.
2) you can take things that are problematic and work specifically on those areas. That’s what AU did.

Far be it from me to praise Freeze because I still do not like him at all. But I did appreciate the methodical, structured approach to Saturdays game.

Things that I found concerning?

A) Arnold’s arm. Not impressed. He’s not Uncle Rico’ing it like Arch, but his throws look fat.
B) Inconsistent OL. Speaks for itself. Looked early like they figured they could just stand around and Ball wasn’t going to try.

South will be a better test.

Conjuring: Last Rites

Yes. Please. Give this series and the hokey charlatan Warrens the last rites. Put it and them out of our misery.

Never been a big fan of the Conjuring franchise. The Warrens were frauds. Grifters. Phonies. To say that these movies are “based on a true story is ridiculous. It’s like saying Godzilla is based on the true story of me watching a tiny lizard sitting on the ledge of my porch.

This (hopefully) last entry in their saga is long and tedious. Nothing much happens for hours except some utterly boring forays into their personal lives. And then when something does finally happen? It’s idiotic.

Vera and Patrick put little effort into it. She’s particularly grating.

The best thing about the movie was a throwaway Aquaman joke that NOBODY else caught.

I know people love these films. But I just don’t understand why. They aren’t good.

This team is getting better each week. There’s a lot of talent running around out there. We are trying to figure out how to out it all together.
The offense did a good job. There were times we tried to force the long ball and instead of just tossing it up, the QB refrained from turning it over.

I like where we are headed.

Alvin is a little bitch. I hope he never plays a meaningful snap at Auburn. We put Elba out of the 1A playoffs in the Semis last year. He put the ball on the ground 4 times. Threw his helmet and refused to play for two series in the third Q because we were frustrating him.
