I could spend days wasting time on this site. Definitely the most comprehensive "All Things Auburn" experience I've ever seen. One of the nicest looking web pages I've seen, period.

If you're new to Auburn, this should catch you up rather quickly.

I wonder how many, if any, other schools are doing something similar to this?

If not now, they will be soon.

Under "Tiger Walk" there's a passage that says "Today the team and coaches walk down the hill and into the stadium surrounded by screaming fans that pay on the back and shake their hands wishing them good luck as the walk".

Someone had better fix this before Finebaum or Evan Woodberry turns us in to the NCAA.

Copy what from SPuat?  What the fuck are you talking about?  Auburn has a AWESOME website, showcasing everything there is to love about Auburn and the fact that Auburn has had more players join the NFL than any University in the Country and you're going to say that SPuat already put together an Auburn website like this one?

Come on, dude. He gave you the link.

I'll be the first to admit ours is eerily similar right down to the rap song about our team. I guess that's what "T-Will" was up to when he recorded it.

Bias probably plays a big role, but I still like ours better. Seems like there's a lot more things to do on it. A lot more interactive and high-tech looking. A lot more video. Glad to see we caught up with the Joneses.

You do realize how easy it is to google search, copy and paste the creed.  Right?  I mean, that's a good question to ask in person, but it doesn't work on the internet.

Anyway, here's my personal Creed....

I have a dream... most nights. It starts on a playground; there's kids, you know swinging, laughing. Dogs barking, butterflies flapping their wings. And then you hear a rumbling. And over the horizon comes a black cloud. And it's made of cancer. And pus. And it starts sweeping over the playground and everyone starts screaming and clawing their eyes, pulling at their hair and saying "Help! What do we do?!" You know what happens next? Out steps me, wielding the biggest fucking shotgun you've ever seen in your life. And you know what I do? I blow every-fucking-thing away. I am getting God's work done. When the whole thing is over and the dust has settled, the whole world gathers below me, and they say "Thank you, Token, thank you for helping, being a great man, and doing this for us!" And you know what I say? "You don't need to thank me. I'm just a guy with a gun.

I actually saw a bammer walk into a convenient store wearing a "13 Nat'l Championship" t-shirt the other day. It just so happened to be a day that I had a wild hair in my ass, so I asked the guy if bama really had that many championships. He said, " heyall yeeah, Aalaubama is the bomb". He was a white boy.

Quote
Tiger Walk

Before each Auburn home football game, thousands of Auburn fans line Donahue Avenue to cheer on the team as they walk from Sewell Hall (the athletes' dormitory) to Jordan-Hare Stadium. The tradition began in the 1960s when groups of kids would walk up the street to greet the team and get autographs. During the tenure of coach Doug Barfield, the coach urged fans to come out and support the team, and thousands did. Auburn is the first known school to conduct an organized procession of players into the stadium. Today the team, led by the coaches, walks down the hill and into the stadium surrounded by fans who pat them on the back and shake their hands as they walk. The largest Tiger Walk occurred on December 2, 1989, before the first ever home football game against rival Alabama—the Iron Bowl. On that day, an estimated 20,000 fans packed the one block section of road leading to the stadium. According to former athletic director David Housel, Tiger Walk has become "the most copied tradition in all of college football."[1] As it grew in popularity, the Tiger Walk has become a fixture for road games. Fans will gather at visiting stadiums and cheer the team on from the busses into the stadium.

Wikipedia has this notorious reputation for being incorrect, which is greatly exaggerated and undue. When have you ever seen an incorrect statement on Wikipedia? Yeah, anyone can post anything, but those dumb or inaccurate things are taken down almost instantly.

This study was done 5 years ago, and since then Wikipedia's reliability has only improved.
