He was in Houston today for some local TT club meet and greet - big interview with local sportscaster. He has been all over local media since his hiring.
Have to admit - VERY WEIRD for me to watch. Especially the fucking red tie.
Just looked unnatural, man.

Give it a fucking rest, K. THIS is why I get equally perturbed with you as I do with Prowler. You just do not know when to let it go. You don't have to be the "winner" every damn time you get into an argument with someone. People can agree to disagree - it happens. Your need for constant attention gets old.
And you sure as HELL don't have to drag shit from one thread into every other thread on the board, thereby destroying anyone else's pleasure in reading about the topic at hand.
Good grief.

It's a joke. Can't take one, can you?
For the second time in two days GET A FUCKING GRIP.
Oh, and while I'm at it? Go fuck yourself.

I get your point considering they seem to be conjoined these days... but it is still weird to see him on local news and not be home in Bama for a visit.

I like him, but he was always way too loyal (to people like Ensiminger). I think that might be his ultimate downfall.

I heard he has Bandit looking for Hugh Nall's 18 wheeler as we speak........Knox will be next.

I know it's a joke, but Knox is redeeming himself at MSU. Don't think he leaves there.

Agree....but I guess the point of the joke is the blind loyalty and not knowing when to say no. God-amightly Joe Friday - I still can't believe he hired Stinkfinger. I live not far from the HS was coaching and have some ties inside that Ath Dept, and from what I saw and heard, he was not impressive there either. Reminds me of Mike Dubose when he went to Dothan and flopped after Bama kicked him to the curb.....Is it wrong that I feel bad for Dubose comparing him to Stinkfinger?

As a RB's corch! Just sayin

Saw on another board that he hired Andy Lutz, Steve Ensminger, Don Dunn, and Jim Nichols as part of the football support staff. Said that Stinkfinger was going to he head of HS relations. This was coming from a TT fan. I don't know if this has been verified yet though.

I can verify the Stinkfinger part is true.

Well then maybe Tuberville did learn something, who knows. With the exception of Ensminger and Knox (at least coaching WRs), the rest of Tuberville's staff that everyone shits on were actually good coaches. You just don't win the way we did over those 4-5 years without good coaches.
And I'm with TW on seeing Tuberville doing the Texas Tech thing. It's just weird. Ten years is a long time to have your identity wrapped up in something and then have it change. It's like when Pat Riley was coaching the Knicks. Or how it will be to see Bill Cowher coaching somewhere else besides the Steelers. You just come to identify the person and program as one after that long. You remember quickly that they aren't one in the same, but the identity link remains. To me, Tuberville will always belong in blue and orange.

And it's RED!! RED!!!!!!!!
Kind of like seeing your ex with another woman. It was an amicable divorce, and you still like the guy, but you were with him for 10 years... and now he is snuggled up to some other woman, one who is probably very nice, and you wish him well, but even though you are sitting with your own date, it still feels as fucked up as a football bat.

I would venture to say that the women isnt quite as good, so the puma doesnt feel so bad about it. Or in your case, cougar.
