I pulled this from a post on the bunker, but it is amazing what a fucking douche Saban is! He is so full of shit. Anyway... Guy from Bunker...
"The BS about negative recruiting starts at around the 18:30 mark. At the 24:50, he comments on our class and eludes to the fact it was only good because we had early PT to offer. At the 25 min mark, he complains about how he didn't get to recruit as much because of the SEC and BCS title games. He then parlays that into a complaint about the saban bump rule they had to put in place to keep him from bumping into recruits in the spring"

So...does this mean Slive will make the day after Thanksgiving all the way through January 10th a dead period for the SEC schools now?

I don't understand why people consider early playing time a negative. Bama had it to offer 2-3 years ago. Tuberville had it to offer in 2000. We have it to offer right now. Teams cycle. It happens. Wouldn't it be a much bigger negative to have early playing time to offer and NOT capitalize on it?

Which he still isn't abiding by (Spencer Region).

That is a gross misrepresentation of what he said. In fact, he talked about how they have PT to offer in the DB slots. Objectivity is not you.

Not so much...
This was his answer in response to the question about what he thinks about his competition, namely Florida and Auburn signing outstanding classes.

It wasn't a shot - it was a statement of fact. He's used that. That's how he built the thing. The idea that he went out of his way to take a shot at Auburn or Florida is a stretch. Now, the whole start of it when he said the thing about people knowing more about his depth chart than he does, that was a shot. But no, not the 24:50 comment.
