Title: Dave Rader Next Ole Miss OC?
Post by: RWS on January 28, 2010, 01:25:15 PM: Supposedly Dave Rader will be named the next Rebels OC. If nobody remembers, he was Shula's OC while at Alabama. I'm not so sure what Nutt is thinking here. Rader's style doesn't seem to mesh with Nutt's, and Rader doesn't bring much to the table in recruiting either. This hire certainly isn't going to turn any heads.

From what I understand about Nutt, he doesn't so much want/need (in his eyes) an actual offensive coordinator. It's along the lines of Leach or "I'm a man I'm 40" hiring an offensive coordinator (minus all the success offensive stats).

Oh, BULLSHIT. This is the Internet, son. You can never find the actual source of a rumor. To even suggest that you know it's genesis is dumber than dirt.

And for the record, I really just can't get excited about this topic. I don't care about Dave Rader, don't even really know who he is and have zero interest in hearing anything about him.

Nutt won't be at Ole Miss for long anyway, so he figured what the hell...I need a OC.
