Title: My semi-daily WNSP bitching
Post by: Kaos on January 27, 2010, 10:50:13 AM
Yesterday afternoon, they're broadcasting from the Senior Bowl.

The guy they were interviewing was talking about Ben Tate and how well he'd fit into a pro offense and how he could help himself with a good Senior Bowl showing.

The hosts (fucking Scott "Braindead" Hunter for one, I think) listened impatiently for a minute or two, interrupted the guy and said "Let's get to the players that everybody wants to talk about.  Tell us about Javier Arenas, how's he doing?"

Call in and ask him to define "everybody" and ask him to back it up. His head will explode.

I actually like listening to Talkin' Football because Tracy Turner is obviously the smarter of the two.

Sometimes I wish I was over there (not here in Texas) so I could hear some of this stuff.  But in the end, knowing what dumbassness rules most of the football and media world there, I'm glad I don't have to subject myself to banging my head against a wall every time I turn on the radio.

Do you really want to raise your blood pressure? Sometimes I wish I were in Georgia or Texas.....

Nah, I worked late so I missed it.  It sounds like vintage Dick Hunter, though.
