Title: The team that you're committed to just won the National Championship....
Post by: The Prowler on January 08, 2010, 09:07:20 PM
What are you planning on doing to celebrate?

Blake Sims (One of the top Athletes in the Southeast): "I'm going to Decommit and re-open my recruiting back up."

Quote
One day after winning the national championship, ... some shocking news (hit SPuat) as one of their star prospects, 4* athlete Blake Sims, made the announcement he is no longer committed to the Crimson Tide.

That's odd.  Maybe he thought that he was the missing link to winning it all.  Didn't satan tell McBrodie that he would be his qb when they won the MNC?

Maybe he wants to be able to throw the ball. Hey Prowler, who delivers the wicked hit in your avatar?

That's a big decommit. He was by far the best QB on the field at the UA game. I hope he leaves Bama for good!

You're thinking of QB Phillip Sims from Virginia.

Jmar, that's former Texas A&M Linebacker Mr. Quentin Coryatt.

Do Bynes or Bates resemble any aquatic life?

Blake Sims is a safety.  Phillip Sims is the top ranked QB.

The safety is the one who de-committed.

Wow that is one ugly guy.  I'll also put money on it that he will never take a meaningful snap at bama.

WOW!  I knew he was little, but damn........he's gonna have to gain a few before facing SEC defenses.

You know what I think?  I think we'll keep our National Championship winning QB and play him next year while we go for our 2nd National Championship in 2 years.  You should be worried about your own QB problems, not the No.1 team in the entire Country.

I take credit for sidetracking this entry miss-calling Blake while thinking Phillip (Sims) but I have no connection with any Bammer unaware of the eligibility of it's starting "game manager".

For the record I have 3 "fixed it for you's"
                              4 photobucket "failures"
                               2 "phuk-you's"
                                1 "bite me's"
                                  1 "you're a dumb-ass'
and 2 "ha-ha's" from the Simpson dunce.
That is all. Wait. :haha: There-fixed it for you!

So says the stupid fucking bammer posting on an Auburn board. You should really seek out like minded people.

Hey pussy, when you go to teh Wallmarks to see the trophy, do us all a favor. Find the biggest shit eating stray dog in the parking lot and jump in it's mouth.

Sims decommitted?

They didn't need him.  7 deep at 4-star athlete position.

Or it could be that Saban saw ESPN has him as a 3-star and decided to "encourage" him to look elsewhere.

Seriously, he probably decided he wants to try to be a QB in college, which is what some expected him to do, and realized he would never see the field as a QB at Alabama.  And if he thought he could be a QB at Alabama, the 11 pass attempts probably wasn't very encouraging.

Sims was not impressed with Alabama's offensive game plan against Texas.  According to his father, they're just worried where Sims would fit in on Alabama's team.  I think Alabama will suffer one more decommitment before signing day.  So it's not entirely unexpected.

I still believe Sims will be a hell of a player for whoever he signs with.  Hopefully, it will be UGA instead of Tennessee.

Oh my, the site police must be writhing their hands on this miscue. I just can't bring myself to participate in the undoing.

FYI, Blake Sims ("One of the top Athletes in the Southeast"), has re-committed to Alabama. Just goes to show you how fucked up recruiting can be sometimes. The kid decommits after a 7 hour in-home visit from Kiffin, then Kiffin hauls ass. An excellent point why a kid should commit to play for a school, and not necessarily to a coach.

Yup...you could see this coming, I wonder what was promised to him and his father by Coach Kiffin?  Also, did Juwan James enroll at UT?

Per James himself, his mother was en route to pick him up from UT the night Kiffin bolted. UT is making the case that if they were on campus at 12:01, then they are considered "enrolled". The early enrollees are making the case that they never went to their first class on that first day, so they are not bound by the transfer rule. I think its safe to say he never plays for UT. The NCAA will certainly grant these kids waivers since the coach bolted literally 3 hours before the day which classes started. Right now kids like James are simply trying to avoid going through the waiver process with the NCAA.
