Title: Is Locker a moron?
Post by: jadennis on December 15, 2009, 03:47:31 PM
Jake Locker is going back to Washington for his senior year.

Scouts Inc (on ESPN) has him the #9 player and #1 QB.

Mel Kiper's "Big Board" has him #5 overall.

Sam Bradford last year?  At least he had reason to think he could win a national title.  Locker?  What's his goal?  To go 6-6 and finally get Washington back to a bowl?

Not a good choice.  Throw in the fact that a new rookie pay scale will be in place after 2010 and it makes even less sense.

There are things in college that you can't do once you're in the NFL.

Like DVDA on two 18 year old girls... wait...

You can do that in the NFL too, FML.

I think the ones coming out next year will dodge the rookie cap. IIRC they vote on it next year and it won't be implemented until the following class.
