Title: Alvarez thinks the Big Ten is going to add a 12th team....who should it be?

Steal Cincinnati, Pitt, or Rutgers?  Or go further west and grab a Boise or a Utah?  Utah would make sense because they also have a respected basketball program.

Aside from "who gives a shit?"...what do you think?

The perfect fit would be Notre Dame.  Never happen though.

I want to say Rutgers was heavily interested in this a few months ago.  I can't really remember because no one gives a shit about the Big 10.

The real question is - what will be the new name for the conference?

IMO, Notre Dame is the best choice but as Pell City stated... Cincinnati strong in basketball but football about to become IU in a year or so due to Kelly defection. Big East roundballers won't leave for Big 10 though I think WVU is the best choice. The western teams are a logistical problem.
