Title: Damn, how many decommits is Auburn gonna have this week?
Post by: Birmingham on December 08, 2009, 08:57:58 PM
What is that now, two?  Four stars are hard to come by, I'd hang on to them if possible.

Ain't you got a Bammer board to shine on? You could be in the Sylacauga HOF. Just saying.
You are Gomer class.
What's you holdback of not coming across as a normal human being? The one time that you showed to be human with concern to your child, this board responded.
WTF?
Fluctuation has me flummoxed. Crazy fucking Bammers.

Still haven't found anyone to change your name, huh?

Go walk into a wheat thresher, intestinal polyp.

Since this topic is surely to flop, I ran across something just now that fucking shocked me.

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/bowls09/columns/story?columnist=schlabach_mark&id=4724361 (http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/bowls09/columns/story?columnist=schlabach_mark&id=4724361)

Quote
20. Outback Bowl
Northwestern vs. Auburn
11 a.m. ET, Jan. 1

Will Auburn change planes in San Francisco to get to Tampa, Fla.? Perhaps no team took more of a back door into a bowl game than the Tigers, who lost five of their last seven games in coach Gene Chizik's first season. Northwestern won four of its last five games, including upsets of then-No. 4 Iowa and No. 16 Wisconsin.

Ok.  Forget the dumbass topic.  Forget the back hand comment they offer Auburn.

Did they really just ask if Auburn's going to San Francisco to enter the back door?

So I'm not allowed  to mention the decommitments?  How is this thread anything but the facts?  How is it not relevant?  This isn't AUNation, you're allowed to mention this stuff, no?  Are you Titantiger???

Holy shit.

They might as well have asked whose cock we sucked to get there.

I think they did.  Not that there's anything wrong with that...for other people I mean.

Vaj...dude..worry about your own team.  What the hell is up with thread after thread of smack talk?  A few years ago, I used to post on occasion (Until the penecillin shots quit working) on what was then Crimson Tusks. Don't know what it's called now.  Throwing a jab here and there was fine but for the most part...if I wanted to venture on to their board (Calm down folks, it was easy then.  We were on a winning streak) I actually tried to add something to the conversation (And raise the overall I.Q. average) Smack would get your ass popped and rightfully so.  It's a BAMA board.  Obviously, we don't pull rank on anyone here.  Your stuff was pretty funny when you first got here.  Now, you're just acting like a fucking ass-wipe with every post.

One thing is for sure.  Jay Jacobs wasn't the one going down.

Just so we're all clear on this, Antonio Goodwin is the only confirmed decommit. Thats the only fact we have right now. And for that matter, we have lost one to UT and one to AU so far.

I think we've clearly established that Jay Jacobs is the cock sucker in this instance.

Is there anyone willing to suck one for a ride to Tampa?  Seriously, Clark?

Thanks RWS. I didn't see where we had lost another either. Coleman may be leaving, but as of now, he is still a commitment.

Antonio Goodwin = 1

Vag, where are you getting 3?

I know Shon Coleman is soft, but we still have only 1 decommitment. Serious, not trying to flame you or anything just wondering where you are getting 3.

His wife says he's always had 3.

Jeffrey Lee at Scout is now reporting that Antonio Goodwin is back as a solid Auburn commit and will visit The Plains this weekend.

Fuck you, Vag.

phuk you, Vag.

I read somewhere else too that he was still likely to sign with Auburn, even though he was opening back up.  Usually when a kid decommits, it's done so to commit to another program.  The fact that he didn't immediately go somewhere else made me think we still have a chance with him.

I'd hold off on the "fuck you Vag" though until we get his LOI, you just never know with these kids.

Just read that he actually canceled his planned visit to Georgia for this weekend and will actually be back in Auburn instead.  If that's accurate, I have to say well done by our staff, we obviously jumped back on him once he wavered.

No credit to Jay Jacobs.

The new "early commit craze" changes things a bit, but historically, kids honor their 1st commits at better than 90% rate.  If a kid makes a commit in Dec or later, you can just about bank him.

"I'm very happy with my commitment," Goodwin said Wednesday. "Auburn is where I want to be."

“The coaching staff is what I liked so much about Auburn,” he said. “They area all really good people. I know they will get me ready to get on the field and be ready to play.”

Apparently Trooper showed up at his house waving a towel and everything is good.  He'll be in Auburn this weekend instead of in Athens.

He had to at least act like he was interested in Tennessee to get some attention from the Vol hostess.

Would that be called a "hit n run" in the recruiting circles?

This just in. WIth all of the decomits in the AU athletic department, Johnny Mack Waymens just changed his mind about AU also. Johnny was one of the top recruits. He was known for his extraordinarily fast sweeps. At Loachapoka high school he was highly touted. That is why AU really wanted him. But in the end, he decided for a smaller setting. Johnny will now be the head janitor for Southern Union. It always pisses me off when AU loses out to lesser programs.
