Title: Best National Radio Stations (Non-XM/Sirius)?
Post by: AUChizad on December 08, 2009, 01:12:32 AM
I got a facebook radio app (for free: See thread on jailbroken iphones in Broun Hall)

So far every radio station I've tried to find is there.

I'm saving favorites, now.

I've got the local stations: JOX, 690, Rock 99.5, & Live 100.5.

I added the only cool national station I know: KROQ.

What other cool stations should I know about out there?

You can check the current playlist here to see if its to your liking. There is no telling what you will hear. The used to have a program on Friday nights featuring new local talent.
I kept my radio tuned to the station while I was up there.

Is this one a terrestrial radio station, or just internet radio?

I couldn't find the call letters.

Also, I tried loading WTGZ The Tiger (Auburn), and for whatever reason it doesn't find it.

Weird cause it has UAB under local stations. I guess I need to try local stations when I'm in Auburn and see if it's stored as something weird...

There is a pretty good archive on the site that you can download.
