I counted nine games that caught my interest.  What a horrible bowl season this will be.

This has the potential to be the worst year for the SEC in bowl games ever.

Kentucky vs Clemson - Clemson should handle this easily.

aTm vs UGA - aTm all the way.

Va Tech vs Tennessee - Va Tech wins this one.

Penn St vs LSU - Might be a push. PSU has an awesome defense though.

OSU vs Ole Miss - Push here as well, imo.

USCe vs Uconn - Possibly a push here. Depends on which USCe team shows up.

Florida should beat the piss out of Cincinnati, AU should maul Northwestern, and Arky over ECU.

Tenn/Va Tech is definitely intriguing. I am interested to see the A&M offense against UGA's D. Esepcially a D with no staff. A&M lit Texas' D up. Maybe aTm and Nebraska should just merge. If Neb had an O or A&M had a D, they'd be deadly.

My really too early prediction is that South Carolina scores in the final minute to beat Connecticut.

Kentucky can beat Clemson.  Hell South Carolina did it.
UT can beat VT.  Bama beat both teams, but UT put up more of a fight.
UGA will not beat aTm.
Lucky Les will not be so lucky against the Cript Keeper.
OSU will expose Ole Miss, and make those early season predictions look that much worse.
USCe should win
UF?  If they show up with the amount of fire that they had in the SEC Chamionship game, they will get embarassed.  Kinda like last years Sugar Bowl.
If the same mentality that was in the Iron Bowl is used in the Outback, then Auburn wins BIG.  If not, it could get ugly.  Like it or not, this Northwestern team isn't that bad, and we did get beat by the southern version last year (Vandy).
Bama will lose.

Just my opinion.

Clemson can win, but "should" win is overstating.  They beat a bunch of mediocre ACC teams (Wake, FSU, NC State, Virginia, etc) on their 6 game win streak before being beat handily by South Carolina and then losing to Ga Tech.  I would think an 8-5 ACC team and a 7-5 SEC team would at least be even.

aTm vs UGA - aTm all the way.
These are probably two of the most inconsistent teams in football.  Everyone will base this game on what they saw A&M do against Texas, but don't forget this team also lost to Arkansas 47-19, Kansas State 62-14, and Oklahoma 65-10.  They were also one of Colorado's 3 wins on the season.  The A&M offense is occassionally unstoppable, but the defense is consistently bad.  This game is a toss up at the very least.  What A&M has going for them is a Georgia team that is probably not excited about their bowl game.

Va Tech vs Tennessee - Va Tech wins this one.
To me, records of ACC teams mean nothing, because you can't get a gauge of the competition.  They are all so up and down.  To me, Va Tech has two decent wins this year out of their 9...Nebraska by 1 point at home on a miracle play from busted coverage, and a win over an overrated Miami team in the rain.  Other than that they lost to the other three decent teams they played, Alabama, Georgia Tech and North Carolina.   They're 9-3 because their last 4 games were East Carolina, Maryland, NC State, and Virginia.  If those were Auburn's last 4 games we'd be 9-3 too.  I will say their freshman running back became pretty good over the course of the year, but you just can't tell anything about an ACC team from their record.  I say this one is at least a toss up too.

Penn St vs LSU - Might be a push. PSU has an awesome defense though.
I'll say this for the "Hat", his teams usually come to play in bowl games.  They've won 4 straight by the scores of 40-3, 41-14, 38-24 (national title), and 38-3.  That's a combined ass kicking of 157-44 (avg. 39-11).  Penn State?  They're harder to read than an ACC team.  They played exactly two solid teams this year and lost to both of them (Iowa and Ohio State).  Their 10 wins include victories over 3 teams with a winning record: Temple, Eastern Illinois, and Northwestern.  The combined record of the other 7 teams?  31-53.  So they went 1-2 against Big Ten teams with winning records.  LSU went 3-3 against SEC teams with winning records.

OSU vs Ole Miss - Push here as well, imo.

USCe vs Uconn - Possibly a push here. Depends on which USCe team shows up.

Florida should beat the piss out of Cincinnati, AU should maul Northwestern, and Arky over ECU.

If Syracuse can beat them, so can AU.

If I recall correctly, the bowl matchups last year looked like a super snoozer of a bowl season.  But, a lot of the games last year turned out to be incredible.

Very true.  Isn't it crazy how we look at the names of the teams and either declare it a good game or a bad game...BEFORE the game is played.

Actually Northwestern was in one of the best games last year with Missouri in the Alamo Bowl.  (30-23 in OT).
