Wondering how disappointed you guys are about Dyer going elsewhere. When did he start leaning toward the University of Auburn?
-
He could've said Alabama Polytechnical Institute for all I care, just as long as he's coming to play football in Auburn, Ala. BTW, Dyer is a shy kid, so he was more than likely nervous as hell.

I'm trying to mask the pain, take your sound reason elsewhere.

I figured that's what it was when I first read your post....Jealous, lol. If Trovon Reed doesn't have an away game on Friday (playoffs), you might have to mask that pain for another week.

Pat Dye made that same mistake. He turned out okay for us.

Did he?

Dyer is a great addition. I am sure bama will get a good running back this year but Dyer is one of the best.

I saw on another AU board that he said he was now glad to be a "war eagle" as well. Truth? All of that is funny and all, but seriously, excellent pickup for AU. The kid is a stud. I think he will work out better for AU than Seastrunk would have.
-
I didn't see him say that, but I watched the video of the press conference, and when someone said "War Eagle" to him, it sounded like he said "War Eagles Baby". It kind of reminded me of the Jim Rome schtick...
But I agree with Prowler, it's nitpicking to say some of that stuff. The kid lived 600 miles from Auburn so I am sure he doesn't know all the traditions.
He damn sure still picked Auburn though....word...

What if we get him too (and/or Lattimore)?

Thats what I was thinking but Im sure bammer wasnt. Teh bammers cant get their minds around these stud RBs going to Auburn instead of bama.

Hey man, did I see you on TV at the AU vs Ole Miss game wearing the "Green Man" suit?

Actually, it doesn't bother me as much as you think. At this point, Seastrunk looks to be LSU bound, and Lattimore is probably going to stay home, unless CSS leaves at the end of the season. If you guys happen to pull two of the three, then so be it. My world will not cease to exist.

Actually, if Seastrunk goes any but to Auburn, it will be USC and if he doesnt go to Auburn Lattimore will.
