Title: Here's The Funniest Thing...
Post by: Snaggletiger on October 24, 2009, 07:04:01 PM
As the CBS cameras faded, the only sound to be heard was 80K Mullets chanting...."Hey Vols, we just beat the hell out of you".

Holy shit Lincoln, FG's should be kicked higher than 3 feet off the ground.  Just sayin'

they didn't beat the hell out of anything. Tennessee punked them.

Fat Bastard should have been flagged for taking his helmet off.

He should've gotten a RE-KICK....Cody took off his helmet as the play was still live, as well as, just about half the team running on the field...again, as the play was still live.  Good no call ref$....it wasn't like you could see a 6'5" 360lb lineman with Dreads running without a helmet as the play was still live.    UT lost that game, the reincarnation of the '78 Pittsburgh Steelers, atleast that's what Vern "would that be an incomplete pass?" Lundquist would have everyone believe, didn't win it.

Is it Illegal to have a Fat Wing device to help block kicks?  Also, I thought it was illegal to have a lineman lined up directly over the snapper, or is that only on Punts?

Julio and McClain had already downed the ball. If you notice, none of the UT players are even attempting to get over to the ball. Cody took his helmet off after the 0:00 mark as well. The CBS announcers need to pay a little better attention to whats going on. We should have lost that game for plenty of other reasons, but that wasn't one of them.

But yeah, Rammer Jammer was absolutely fucking embarassing. I can't begin to explain how embarassing that was. We flat out got outplayed and outcoached. Offense better fucking get it together. That has to be the worst showing by an SEC offense all season.

I'm calling BULLSHIT on that.....As soon as Cody took off running, he was taking off his helmet before Julio, Arenas, Jerrell, Rolando, Jimmy Johns, Jawuan Simpson, John Sarah Jessica Parker Wilson downs it....It doesn't matter if the clock was reading negative numbers, the ball was still live until the SPuat players touched it.  But, whatever, UT lost that game....I expect SPuat to drop one spot now, unless UF AND UT get beat.

I wanted to go to Volnation to see a few fans crying all over themselves but their server is fried right now.  I decided to come here and see it.

Whaaaaaaa, Alabama blocked the kick that would have given them a loss.  I'm going to ignore the holding that was the entire 4th Qtr.  You're not supposed to be able to block kicks.  You're not supposed to be able to take your helmet off after the game.  Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

And, if I'm not mistaken, after Alabama recovered the ball any unsportsmanlike conduct penalty (which is a dead ball penalty not a live ball penalty) would have only made it 1st and 25 Alabama ball instead of a re-kick.

Shit, I thought we only had like 150 yards of offense....it was actually 256. I watched most of the AU vs LSU game.....wtf? Yeah, I would have to say you guys win the worst offense award. However, Alabama is a strong runner up.

Yeah, kinda sad really that its the only thing you can come up with against me. To come to the conclusion that we might win a game by 14 points at home.....how stupid of me.

Realistically, it was a fairly decent assumption. I didn't think we would throw as much as we did, thus extra touches going to the backs. In that case, if we can move the ball on the ground, we would have been in good shape. Hell, if the ref would have called the PI in the endzone when UT's CB pushed Julio with both arms, we probably wouldn't have needed to block a last second FG. But whatever, fuck it. Our offense played like total shit anyways. Improved from last week against a better defense, but still played like shit. Thank God for a bye week. Hopefully this does the trick.

And as for us getting exposed? Please. Our defense played like a totally worn out defense would play. You can't play at that level for 8 weeks straight and maintain it every single game. Even McClain was saying he didn't even get his legs back until Thursday. They were gassed going into it. I expect them to be back to regular form against LSU. Note: LSU really fucking worries me. I don't know if you guys are just that horrible, or if they really are that good. They haven't looked that good all year.

Auburn doesn't have a BYE week for another FOUR weeks....you think that might have something to do with the Defense looking worn out, not to mention the Offense going 3 and out on just about every possession for the past two and a half weeks, and some of those times those 3 and outs have been very quick ones?  As for y'all being exposed?  I thought you bammers were saying that the Wildcat gimmick is just that a gimmick and that it won't work and if you have to use gimmicks to get down the field then you're masking your deficiencies in other areas...hmmm, how many yards rushing did Ingram have in the wildcat as opposed to get the hand off from McElroy?  If I remember correctly, the stat during the game was 73 yards, for Ingram, out of the Wildcat.  BTW, I would rather have Ingram run the Wildcat, than have Kodi running it....that's why I'm hoping that Coach Malzahn will put Mario back there instead of Kodi "hop around to find a hole" Burns.

If I remember correctly, the footage of that guy came after the refs called Auburn offsides, because the Auburn defender caused the LSU guy to move, because he went into the neutral zone.....But the series before that, the refs called Auburn for a false start, eventhough the LSU defender had crossed the neutral zone causing the Auburn guy to move.

Don't bother explaining things to bammers. They are immune to reason. And besides, he's got to get to bed...those garbage routes start early.

And whose fault is that? You need to bitch to your AD that they are that fucking stupid to play 11 weeks in a row. Not my fault you guys need two weeks to prepare for Alabama. At least I have a little comfort in knowing our administration tried to get our bye week after week 6 but couldn't get it to work out scheduling wise with other schools. And for that matter, AU's defense has not played NEARLY on the same level as UA's this season. Our defense has played like world beaters for the past 7 weeks. AU's defense couldn't hold UA's defense jocks.

Also, I can't recall where I ever said I was thrilled about this Wildcat bullshit. Pretty sure I expressed my dismay with the yardage from it damn near equaling our passing yardage against SC. And once again, I think there were alot of people saying AU's offense would be wore slap the fuck out playing at the pace Malzahn tries to play at. Again, AU's own fault for implementing something that isn't practical.

I think we should make the players walk to every away game.  At least that way, it will make some fucking sense when they look tired during the first snap of the game.

Dammit man...they are obviously tired on defense from all those non-contact practices.  You can only push kids so far before they finally start to crack.
