This past weekend a radio station in my area changed it's format to sports radio. I was excited over the change until Monday evening when coming home from work. I hit the pre-set for the station and finally heard finescum. To be totally honest I thought some of you were full of shit when talking about his radio show. It took about five minutes to realize how wrong I was. I apologize for the lack of belief. From my short listening experience I'd say most of you were kind to that piece of shit.

The biggest problem to me is that his show could be 100X better but he chooses to cater to the lowest common denominator. He lets Charles from Reeltown call in at the start of each show and it just deteriorates from there. The guy can interview guests like Gary Danielson, Tim Brando, Steve Spurrier, Tuberville etc. any time he wants. But he chooses to let the scum of the earth talk shit to each other for 4 hours.

He was cracking on Todd being nominated for the Manning Award with some other inbred on the phone so I promptly changed the station. I listened for a few minutes yesterday and he was laughing about Chizik, again with another inbred on the phone. Is his entire show based on slamming AU? To make matters worse I tried the station again later this evening thinking surely his show was over...it was... saban's show was on. I reset my pre-set to another station. Fuck'em!

We were trying to explain the Au/uat rivalry to a guy from New York last week. When he found out my friend went to undergrad at Montevallo (her parents are AU alumni), he couldn't understand why she cared, saying she didn't have a dog in this fight. I told him 75% of uat's fan base had never even set foot in Tuscaloosa....they are just fucking everywhere...wherever ignorance thrives...
He humored me but I am not sure he believed me.
My point?
PF caters to the 75%. And it's not hard to entertain those masses.

Used to think Finebaum was the worst.
Spend half an hour listening to Roger Schultz down here. You'll think Finebaum is the Michaelangelo of radio.

It would have to be bad for me to think that about Finebaum.....I gave up on sports radio in this state a long time ago.

Since you all went to the barn and have great paying jobs just do like I do and get SIRIUS/XM. You can listen to ESPN radio and you will be done with F-bomb. Just a thought.

For years and years, we've had one AM sports talk station here in this small market. They carry a local guy in the morning and F-Bomb in the afternoon. The rest of the time it's SNR. A couple of months ago, one of the FM stations went with ESPN. I actually have something to listen to in the afternoons now.

SIRIUS 122 - Rivals Radio every morning. All that dude (Bill King I think) talks about is College Football. Especially CFB in the south. He was giving us some great air time around week 4/5. Very complimentary of the SEC.

Okay, so he talked about Auburn for a few minutes one week about three or four weeks ago.
That's not enough for me. I still won't care about 99% of what he talks about. I don't give a fuck about Jim Tressel or whoever is coaching Wyoming or Boston College or Oregon or any of that.

I kind of like the change myself. But then, I'm one of the few who will actually sit and watch a regular season NBA game. Honestly, by this time of the year and regardless of how great or crappy either Auburn and Bama are doing, you can only break this shit down so many ways. I like hearing something else for a change.

When Schultz is on? They are dying for callers. Nobody calls and he rambles for hours.
