From their resident bammer:
I sure hope so Hog Fans ? Most people outside Alabama think our biggest rival is Aubarn , but for the most part Aubarn has never really been that much of a threat to us over the years . Tennessee has been. For braggin rights inside the state oh -yea BEAT the Barn!
But for the most part , before the SEC west and east stuff , it was Alabama and Tennessee, for the SEC title and Sugar Bowl Bid.
This game is THE GAME.
Simply amazing that the six years before this last one never happened to bammer. Or for that matter, the last 30...

The funny thing is no hawgs call this dipshit on that.
I kept reading thinking surely someone would say "Damn, for not being competitive with you, they sure have owned your ass for 7 out of the 9 years this century."
But alas, they were all bobbing their head in agreeance as they continued to slob this douche's knob.

Just remember for every Woopig there is a hogville.net. Just like for ever TigersX there is an AU...er...actually there is no other.

As soon as they approve my registration (stupid), I'm posting some facts.
He says "over the years" Auburn hasn't given them much trouble. How many years does he want to count? I mean, Bear Bryant had his way with every SEC program for all of the 60s and 70s, not just Auburn. He was 9-3 against Georgia, 16-4 against LSU, etc.
So if we go back 27 years to Bryant's last season, 1982, Alabama is 11-16 against Auburn, and 12-15 against Tennessee. So over those years Auburn has given the Tide more trouble than Tennessee.
For the record, Auburn has also had a winning record against Alabama's "true" rival Tennessee, going 9-6-2 over those same 27 years.
To go a little deeper...
Alabama verses Auburn, Tennessee, Georgia, LSU, Florida, Arkansas, and South Carolina over those 27 years is 58-69-1.
Auburn verses Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, LSU, Florida, Arkansas, and South Carolina over those 27 years is 73-59-4.

Too late, I just posted it. I won't change the mind of the bammer on there, but maybe it's not too late to save some of the apparent "converts" from the Hog nation that are falling all over themselves to declare Alabama 50 point favorites over Tennessee.
All you can do is share the truth....what they do with it is up to them. :poke:

I have already been exposed to the truth, jadennis. Woopig is a much better site, they hate everybody over there.

x asked about the won-loss record. That's why I brought it here. We have our subspecies grouped up in one place.

On post 42 in response to post 16.
I quit reading way before that. I had already puked out half of my stomach lining.

Also his response to the post in question "You beat them for the first time in how many years" was:
*6* I seem to remember 9 years in a row for them also.
That is the most wins the barn has put up against us since 2-22-1893.
He worded that as if 1893 was the last time we had beaten them several times in a row. I guess he was saying it's the most times in a row that we have beaten them ever.
Well no shit. And your 9 (during the bahr era) is the most times in a row you've beaten us. Your other 5 in a row, also in the bahr era were your next closest. Our streak of 6 in a row is #2. We had 5 in a row from 56-48. We had 4 in a row from 86-89. And 4 in a row from 1895 to 1902.
As has been rehashed over and over, the only period of dominance is during bahr's tenure. Aside from that, Auburn would lead the series by a wide margin.
And all that bahr shit is just as relevant to me as the games in the late 1800s. I was born in October 1982. The first game I was alive for is the one that put bahr in his grave. And it has been Auburn dominance from that day forth.

Bama will roll and Auburn will die.

So I checked the thread this morning to see what the bammer wrote back to my post...and he actually (as all brainwashed bammers do) used the "you only won because we sucked" argument.
His quote was "What you fail to mention in your excellent post, was that just about all of those wins and percentages you posted , were made possible - by the lowest point in the history of Alabama football ( poor coaching choices , probation )"
So I posted back explaining that Auburn has a winning record against Alabama in the 22 games before Bryant, and the 26 games since Bryant. So the "low point in the history of Alabama football" was over a 48 year span with a 25 year break in the middle?
Complete ignorant morons. Can't stand it.
-
2008 was a banner year in Auburn football history, with the lone blemish being a loss to our rival at season's end. Damn that Bama. We can't seem to get over the hump when things are going well.
