Cliff notes -
- A family's balloon which was built to identify and make contact with aliens is released into the air.
- Older brother of 6 year old Falcon Heene claims Falcon is in a basket connected to the balloon.
- Balloon travels around Colorado.
- Every media outlet shuts down and focuses on this balloon.
- Reporters and analysts determine the possible flight path, the possibility of finding a body fallen from the air, and the potential injuries the boy could have.
- Turns out the Heene family was on Wife Swap. They were the weird side of the family.
- Turns out they are geeked on proving Star Trek-esque science theories.
- Turns out Falcon Heene was hiding in the attic alive and safe.

I saw this story break while I was at work today in Montgomery. I left as the balloon was landing on the ground so I didn't hear how it ended, I just heard that the boy wasn't in the balloon. Of course, everyone was predicting the worst, looking for the body on the flight path.
I just found out the dumbass was hiding in the attic the whole time. Is it weird that I was kind of disappointed?

The kid's name was "Falcon".....
His parents had appeared on "Wife Swap"...
These fuckers are nuts and probably staged it.
-
Probably and the dumbass media fell for this shenanigan.
Seriously, don't you think you could spot a body impression in a shiny, oversized, mylar, whoopie cushion?
