Title: Navy Nightmare
Post by: Godfather on October 13, 2009, 11:20:51 AM
Hey at least we come up with clever names.

Quote
The Ole Miss game on Oct. 31 is being called a Navy Nightmare. Fans are encouraged to wear Auburn navy or an official Navy Nightmare shirt to the game. "For the Kentucky and Alabama games, we are asking our fans to support the All Auburn, All Orange program," Director of Athletics Jay Jacobs said. "Since the Ole Miss game is on Halloween, we want to do something out of the ordinary and host a Navy Nightmare at Jordan-Hare Stadium. We encourage our fans to wear their Auburn navy to this game."

Are you guys going to have trick-or-treating and costume contests for the recruits in attendance?

We have a "pin the marlin on Julio" contest planned though.

Saban is going to jump out of clown car at halftime and ride a tricycle, it's his Halloween tradition.  We know how much Alabama fans love tradition.

Fuck the contests, let's just start paying the shit out of them...

No disagreement, but at least its better than a "blue out".  Which should have been called a "black and blue out"

Navy Nightmare?  What an idiot.

Could we get Morgan Fairchild and the monkey to come out pre-game?

Again no disagreement, I still say its better than "blue out".

Between grief and nothing, I'll take grief.

It's the same thing but with a different name.

I'm not going to kill your friend, I'm just going to decease his ass.  Is he any less dead.

Where are those damn pitchforks?

For the record, I think black-out, blue-out, etc is stupid. I don't understand the logic of wearing a certain color shirt somehow brings a fanbase together. Especially when you do it and get your ass embarassed like UGA. Your fans should be loud in the first place. They should be passionate. You shouldn't need a shirt to accomplish that.

I don't think it does anything, other than make the stadium look cool.  I actually like them, I think its a cool idea, I like that 85,000 have on one color.  When Penn State does the whites it looks bad ass on TV.

I wish we would keep it to more random times vs every time, and possibly pull out some orange jers...nvm.

If he called for one, I wouldn't like the idea any more than another team doing it. Keep on assuming.....

Oh please, your not fooling anyone.  You are a homer, its okay, we are all homers.  If no one had ever done it before and bama invented it, it would be the best thing since sliced bread. Just keep telling yourself different.

Oh, okay. Because obviously you know exactly what I think, all the time. Continue to formulate an argument based on what you think that I think.

You're exagerrating.  I've only seen a handful of houndstooth hats.  In fact, I've interviewed dozens of people and they've not seen any houndstooth hats.

You don't want to go all volunteer. Maybe do it by sections where you look like a jack'o'lantern.
Fuggit, anything jacko is pederast.
When are they gonna bury that Anka biter, anywho?

I think you think Julio's man package smells like the anal gland of a recently expressed lemur.

What do I win?

Lucky for Auburn, I'm only fickle when it comes to men.

Men, are like Kleenex. You pluck one, use it, and look there is another one waiting.

I disagree. They are also good for taking you to court when you divorce them and draining your bank account...

Whoa whoa hold up...nobody said anything about what men were good for...

I simply said there is an endless supply...at least until one gets old and ugly.
That's a fact boys.

Fixed that for you.  Benjamins are about as good as beer for getting ugly and /or old women laid.

Again, gentlemen (and otherwise) it wasn't meant to be an insult. It was a simple statement of fact.

AWK, I expected a little more originality from you. *sigh* I'm probably not the first to be disappointed.

is this what we are talking about?  perhaps the scary santa claus got me off track.  or was it the argument between ausweetheart and taylor as to which tampon brand fits more comfortably?

I work with what I am given, and in your case that would be a lot.
