I am a second generation Auburn graduate. I lived in Auburn as a child while my daddy finished his degree by day and worked as an City of Auburn police officer by night. I attended my first Auburn game when I was 5 years old, Shug's last season as head coach. I still have the newspaper clippings from the day he died, two days before my tenth birthday. I suffered through the Barfield era, wearing my orange and blue to school every Friday despite all the bullshit I got from your gap toothed, inbred, lame ass sister fucking bretheren, because I was still proud to be an Auburn girl, and knew that even when we lost, I was still better than them. I soaked up every minute of the Pat Dye era, because I had earned the right to enjoy the way it felt to beat you fuckers. When I started grad school, I almost got arrested for creating a scene in the Athletic Offices because I had not yet enrolled for classes and they would not sell me a student ticket for the first game, which was played before school started that year. I paid full price for a ticket and went anyway. One of the first phrases my kids learned to say was "Bammer stinks!", right after "War Eagle" and "I love you". I have been orange and blue since day one.
So do your thing with the stupid voting and blah blah blah. But don't you EVER insinuate that I am like you fucking scumbags to the west, and only support my team when they win. Like I knew in junior high - I would rather be an Auburn fan and never see my team win another game than EVER lower my standards and be a fucking bammer fan and watch those bastards win national championships every damn year.

Just because I had had some wine does not mean I was shitfaced. I was merely translating "a touch of the grape" into bammer speak. I was buzzed, but I do not make a habit of getting "drunk" on a Sunday night. I also do not make a habit of drinking expensive wine to get drunk. That is what vodka is for. I am not a bammer, for whom every night has the potential to be a Natty Light night.
More importantly, I could spell and punctuate correctly in my sleep. Not a big deal. When one is well educated, one's skills do not necessarily fall off just because one's inhibitions and self-restraint are somewhat compromised. I realize that the well educated part leaves out most of you bammers, so you will just have to take my word for it.

I pretty much only post here. I lurk on BOL, post every great once in a while on TideSports.....I might have like 30 posts there? I think I have around 80 on BOL and have been a member for years. I can't remember the last time I posted on AUN. Its fun to talk about things from the other side. Sitting around agreeing with people all the time isn't my thing.
