Yeah I do.  I think he's gonna be a great addition to Saban's staff.  I love how pumped he gets.  He'll be great in Crimson.

Yeah he'll also look good squirting his man juice all over the big "A" at midfield at Bryant Denny.

Is that how their "legends" are born?  How many Heisman winners do they have again? :)

Almost as many National Championships your beloved Tiger-Eagles have.  That's all gonna change though when Trooper's coaching up our young men.

If only we counted them as you do.....  Trooper will stay with us.  We offer a rare combination of family and fortune here in Auburn, whereas all you guys can offer is fortune.

Excuse me if I don't get emotionally moved at your "we're a family here" speech.  All joking aside, didn't Willis actually play football at Auburn?  How's this "family" thing work at Auburn?

You are excused.  I'm not trying to move you or convince you of anything, just stating fact.  Willis turned his back on us, not us on him.  All families have turmoil at some point.  If he did not want to be a part of it, it is his loss, not ours.

Our commitments and soon to be commitments have all coined one similar phrase when interviewed.  "  It is one big family there.  I loved everything about that." (Paraphrased and generalized)

The truth is CTT is settling down at Auburn where there is a real family atmosphere. Unlike the business that is UAT athletics. Everything about UAT is fake, fraudulent and superficial and the recruits know that.

Good luck, or NOT, in your quest for authenticity at UAT. It should take you the rest of life to get it there, because it will never happen. You are not Auburn and you can never be Auburn.

Open your eyes, Keller.  "It just felt real comfortable there, I mean, it's just one big family" is said by every recruit about every single college in the United States.  Thinking the "it's family here" statement is exclusive to Auburn is like thinking the McDonalds in Auburn is a ''Mom and Pop'' shop that hand cuts their own fries.

"Willis turned his back on us, not us on him".  Check your facts, Keller.  Turns out that family member don't appreciate being fired from their family members.  Also turns out that family members don't appreciate being rehired at a pay rate embarrassingly different from what the new coaches were rolling onto the plains making.  What did Willis do??????  He looked out for himself because he realized his "family" wasn't going to.  Nice family you got there.

Man it sucks to be so fraudulent and superficial.  Past championships suck.  National recognition is over rated.  The recruits know how bad it is here.  I mean, look how awful our recruiting classes have been since that bastard satan stepped foot on our campus.  HOW COULD WE HAVE FALLEN INTO THIS MESS????  HE CAN'T RECRUIT WORTH poop, WHY ARE WE SETTLING FOR 5 AND 4 STAR RECRUITS????  Fire Mal Motherphukin-moore.  Number 3 ranked team in the country and constant conversation of being the stand alone most complete team in the country is getting ridiculous.  MAKE ALL OF THIS FRAUDULENT AND SUPERFICIAL SUCCESS STOP!!!!!  PLEASE MAKE IT STOP!!!!  THE RECRUITS KNOW THIS!!!!

Open your eyes, Keller.  "It just felt real comfortable there, I mean, it's just one big family" is said by every recruit about every single college in the United States.  Thinking the "it's family here" statement is only found at Auburn is like thinking that the McDonalds in Auburn is a ''Mom and Pop'' shop.

Willis is gone because of a simple misunderstanding.  During the coaching change, he told Jacobs he was going to stick around and "grind it out".  Thinking that was honorable, Chizik and Jacobs kept him around.  It was only later that we found out that Willis meant "grind it out with cousins, aunts, uncles, brothers, and sisters"....ie, "cousin grinding".

As soon as Jacobs learned of his true desire to "cousin grind", he made a quick call to Saban, knowing that would be a great PR move for Saban to connect with his fan base on a level they can really relate to.

Hence, Willis found his true "family" there in Tuscaloosa with the other "grinders".

You forgot to mention "the Bear" in there anywhere, which is a Crimson party foul.  Go back and factor in terms like "corching lechend" and insults to Auburn that involve "cow" and "barn".  Then you'll pretty much have it down.

I didn't forget anything.  You were right on cue though.  As usual, as it should be, you barners can't keep from bringing him up for the bammers.  I mean, he did kick the living dog shit out of you his entire career so it makes since that you'd bring him up 30 years later.

Since this topic blows and was started by an idiot, let's change it.

Did anyone see the upcoming Miss State home schedule?

They just played #4 LSU, today they get #25 Georgia Tech.  Next week they get #12 Houston.  Then the remaining home games are #1 Florida, #3 Alabama, and #21 Ole Miss.  No wonder they sold a record number of season tickets.

That's 4 top #12 teams on the home schedule, and means every home game except Jacksonville State was against a ranked team (assuming they all remain ranked).

Are you that dense?  As an Auburn fan listening to an Alabama fan, I'm used to counting my ten second count down awaiting the "Bear" to come up in the Bama fans rant.  Since I had passed the ten second mark, I assumed you had merely forgotten that part.

Puleeeze, accuse Auburn fans of bringing up the Bear?  The only time I bring him up is when I point out that since he retired 28 years ago, Auburn is 16-12 against you ironically elitist morons.

If you intentionally left him out of your spiel, congratulations, you're the first Bammer I've come across to do so.  Although I'm sticking with the idea that you got so carried away with Saban and "championships" that your brain was unable to recall an additional worthless fact such as "da bar".

I just got my ass called out on bringing up the bear and just shit my pants.  I hope none of my other Auburn brothers read this thread and see the shit trap I successfully set and then sat my big fat ass firmly in.  Not sure what to do but try to take my ball and go home in the form of saying this thread is stupid and I want it to change from the ass drudging I'm getting in it.  I guess I'll start talking about the Mississippi State home schedule.  Alright, here it goes...

Good point

Good point

At what point did I shit my pants exactly?  I'm looking back and all I see is Alabama's 12-16 record since the Bear and some lamo Bama fan on an Auburn site pining for one of the Tiger coaches.  Maybe if should interpret it like the Birmingham media, then maybe I'd see you pants-shitting you speak of.

Hell it can't get any worse than I've already made it, why don't I keep making a dumbshit of myself?  I brought up the bear by making fun of people who bring up the bear.  I got called out on bringing up the bear while making fun of people who bring up the bear.  I denied everything.  I got made fun of some more.  I now decide to follow the manual and begin referring to Alabama's record against Auburn since the bear.  Let's see where this leads.

+1 Really well thought out post.

Thanks, I thought it was pretty well done too.   And called out for mentioning Bear-loving Bama fans?  That's like getting "called out" for saying Obama is a socialist anti-American loser.  If you want to call that getting "called out", well, okay, you win.
