The announcers said something to the effect of McCalebb being able to go back in if it were a game like the SECCG.  They made it sound like we were being cautious.

I thought I heard Kodi took a shot to the thigh and Onterrio looked like he got an ankle injury.

The announcers last night mentioned quad injury for Kodi.

O.M. - ankle, but more of "tweak"...shouldn't be an issue, and he should be right at about 100% for TN.

K.B. - Deep Thigh Bruise.  Took a helmet to his thigh in the first qtr.  Should be fine, but they may take it easy and make sure that someone else is able to take some snaps in the Wildcat this week.

Neither look to be an issue for TN.

THIS^^^would be very good news to me.  We need both these guys to make a run in the West.

Onterio McCalebb expects to play at Tennessee
By Evan Woodbery
September 27, 2009, 7:58PM

Freshman running back Onterio McCalebb said he would play Saturday against Tennessee, and could have returned to play against Ball State if the game had been closer.

McCalebb left after being injured on a failed fake punt in the second quarter.

Receiver/Wildcat quarterback Kodi Burns left the game with a quadriceps injury. His status is unknown.

"It's day by day," Chizik said, repeating a phrase he uses with almost every injury. "I know you're sitting there going, 'Here he goes again.' But it really is. I really don't know. We'll know more by Tuesday-ish."

Running back Ben Tate's shoulder was iced after Sunday's practice, but he said it was a minor injury that would not keep him from playing.

Does anyone have any idea as to when Isom will be back? He apparently broke a team rule, so he didnt play this last week.

It sounds like he's not playing this week, but I suspect if he is, we won't know til after kickoff.

I suspect Chizik won't give Kiffin anything to prepare for if he can help it.
