Torbush lauded Auburn's scheme, and said the main crux was the quickness with which it worked. That made it difficult to get situation-appropriate personnel into the game.
"You've got to be able to play with what you have on there (when playing such a quick offense)," he said. "You've got to be able to understand that once you get a three-man front on the field, that's what you're in. If you're in a nickel on the field, that's probably what you're in." Torbush said an incomplete pass or a ball on the hash closer to State's bench could help in substitutions.

I read the article and am still confused with what he was trying to express.

But in Vanderbilt's offense, Torbush sees the same goals, Score TD's..Check the same versatile athletes QB, WR's check...check and the same run-oriented approach they have a RB...check that can cause his players problems.

Ie...The pace of our offense was to quick, for them to make appropriate substitutions.

That part I got. The part that was confusing was him saying the pace screwed them up and every team they play will do this to them.
Okay, so what I am hearing you say is that you admit your schemes were teh suck and will not be any better the rest of the year.

Maybe he's admitting that his team is SLOW AS SHIT?

Unless the rest of the offensive coordinators stop cheating by attacking his defense's weaknesses.
