It was on FSS about 30 min. ago. He said, and I quote, "The center (He didn't say his name, I'm guessing because he doesn't remember it) had not been able to snap the ball (for) a couple of days leading into the game, and so we shot him up before the game so he was able to play."
I don't ever remember hearing a coach say that...aside from in the movie "Friday Night Lights". I've got a feeling that before this season is over, he's going to have a few more "Holy Shit!!! Did he just say that???" moments.

Sounds like Coach Kilmer, Never show weakness, the only pain that matters is the pain you inflict.

Judging by your avatar, you would be the one to catch that.

He's a moron, no doubt, but it was probably a cortisone shot or something. I'm thinking anabolic steroids or HGH would not help him a day before a game.

I was thinking lidocaine or xylocaine was what he was talking about. Of course, I have to agree that I have never heard a coach admit to shooting up a player with novacaine or other local anesthetics.

Well yeah, I wasn't meaning steroids or anything like that. I've just never heard a coach saying that he shot his player up (I was thinkin' Cortisone, Oxycotton, Heroin, etc.) before the game on TV or in the papers. Not only that, he didn't even know his Center's name, I could understand that during Spring Training or Two-A-Days, but two games into the season? LOL, what a douchecanoe.
