Which two teams will be playing for the BCS National Championship? I'll go first on who I feel will be playing in the big game.
Big XII Champion: Texas
vs
Pac 10 Champion: Oregon
-
Florida Vs Texas
-
Alabama vs Auburn
In a related story, I'm now calling the Iron Bowl the BCS Championship Game. I've made this decision so that I won't have to complain that we were only 1 quarter away from playing in the Championship game.
-
Texas vs. Ohio State.
I stand by my predictions about the SEC. I firmly beleive a 2 loss LSU team will beat Florida (who will have at least 1 loss) in the SECCG. The key game in the overall scenario is the Ohio State-So. Cal game. I think So.Cal takes a small step back this year, but I don't see another team from the PAC 10 running the table either. Figure the ACC will not produce a dominant champion as well as the Big East, the road is paved for Ohio State. (Of course, Notre Dame has to lose a couple too.) I wrote during a bowl preview the Fiesta Bowl could be a preview of the BCSCG. I stand by that prediction.

Hey Sensible, you can't make a comment like that without backing it up. Who's the 1 loss going in to the SECCG? It's hard to find one with their weakass schedule. I know there are some tough games, which one is the loss though.

Sorry, I intended to include that. I could see either the LSU or the South Carolina game as potential problems from them on the road and Arkansas at home in mid October is a real sleeper in my opinion. Most of my thought about this is based on the fact that Florida has never run the table and doing that in the SEC is most rare.
PM me if you want my take on Bama's schedule.

Pull one out of a hat.
Would you have predicted Ole Miss over Florida last year?
It's a virtual impossibility for a team to perform at its peak every week of the season. There are games where you just come out flat or dragging. And you can't find the gear.
Sometimes its injury. Bama suffered its flat games in the regular season at times when it wasn't exposed. Play against Georgia like they did against Tulane and there's an ass spanking going down. Those "off" games were attributed to injury.
The year before, Bama came out sleepwalking against ULM. Who could have predicted that?
I think he's right. At some point, Florida will go to sleep at the switch and drop a game they shouldn't. I have no idea which game that will be, I'm just confident it will happen.

The Speech #2 coming? A plaque could be in order.... again.

A sleeping Florida is still better than anything the SEC has right now.
Every team but Florida has serious question marks. LSU? QB and defensive line. Alabama? QB, RBs, and left tackle. Georga? QB and defense.
I think it would be a monumental upset for Florida, a team with 22 starters and 2nd stringers returning from last year's defense, to not go undefeated. Tim Tebow along with three dangerous running backs and a tremendous amount of talent at wide receiver.
If USC can get through their schedule with 1 loss, then they deserve to go to the BCSCG. They only have 6 home games, and they travel to: Ohio St, Notre Dame, Oregon, California, and Arizona St.
However, it'll be the winner of the Red River Shootout.
Florida vs. Texas. Mark it down.

I'll add to what Kaos stated, there won't be an undefeated team playing in the National Championship Game.

I feel better about "(Tyrik Rollison) will never, ever, ever be all that", LOL.
