Letting guys tee off on a player because he missed some summer workouts? Thats pretty fucking stupid.

just wait till one of their starters get hurt.

Well, that didn't take long. Bryce Brown now has a concussion from the hits he took. I like how the article talks about how it was the team's first day in pads. The team wasn't in pads, only Brown and the three guys teeing off on him.

Hell, at he pace they're going, they won't be able to field a team this upcoming season. I think they were in helmets and shells on Thursday....which is basically full pads, unless you get hit in the thighs. I remember back in my playing days that helmets and shells meant full contact, just nothing below the waist.

Bryce Brown might not be eligible to play this year anyway, oh yeah and he took a helmet to the hip on Monday.......
Tennessee tailback Bryce Brown is facing an eligibility issue as the NCAA investigates his amateur status as a high school player, head coach Lane Kiffin said after practice Tuesday.
At question is money raised for Brown and other players to attend football camps while in high school. Kiffin said Brown is currently eligible, but is uncertain if Brown will be eligible for the season-opener Sept. 5 against Western Kentucky.
Tennessee’s recruitment of Brown is not thought to be part of the investigation.
Brown was back in full pads at practice Tuesday but did not participate after leaving Monday’s practice with a hip injury. Kiffin said an MRI was negative.
More details online as they become available and in Wednesday’s News Sentinel.

The fact that Lane Kiffin is a douchebag is no news to me.
This Tennessee team reminds me of the Miami (FL) under Dennis Eriksen. Loaded with talent but totally undisciplined.

I'm no UT expert...but how is UT loaded with talent? Didn't they have a worse record than Auburn last year? They have struggled for the past couple of years now...no?

Except for QB, they've been recruiting well for years and not losing people to attrition they way Auburn has.

Somebody at work today thought UT would be contending for a MNC within 2 years....I was amazed. They have got to find a decent QB. As far as the running game goes, I don't think Bryce Brown is going to make it out of camp alive.

No, UT is not loaded. Their O-line is bad, bad, bad.

I totally agree. Once Sears left, it seemed as if the OL started slipping....really fast. UT has Eric Berry and some good to really good football players, but they're scattered across the depth chart.
