Thought I saw a thread already started about this and was going to post there. Sorry if I overlooked it.
I just bought this tonight for my PS3. I had not purchased or played it since the last X-Box version. What do you guys that have already played it think about it? Am I about to put my marriage in jeopardy by getting addicted to a video game? I have owned my PS3 for almost two years, but this will be only the third game I have purchased for it.

Yeah, I don't think you need to worry about me running up the score. After two years, I have only played a handful of games on the PS3 and I still don't know how to use all 50 buttons on the controller.
My Playstation Network ID is Ranger375. Will that be the name I use to play online?

Yes. Substance.

The game play has improved and the players motions are more realistic. Being able to customize your conference is a cool addition to the game. In the teambuilder mode you can build a team from scratch, choose the uniform colors even upload logos from your high school. I would recommend buying the game.

You also get to play with Raven Gray as an Auburn Tiger. Oh, and Tray Blackmon stuck around along with Bosely getting another year to play football.
Also, if you're Auburn and are trying to upset a good team, you'll get smashed with penalties and fumbles at the end of the game because EA Sports said "Fuck those fucking Auburn faggy faggots."

Is the real fight song in it yet? Or still Glory Glory...?

No fight song, but you can uploaded from your Ps3 media file.

I just finally got around to having the chance to sit down and play. Considering the last version I played was the 2004 regular X-Box version, all I can say is wow! The graphics are incredible and the motion is incredible. I went ahead and set up Auburn as my Showdown team for when that starts.
I played UGA in an exhibition on Freshman level and I won 40-21. Kodi Burns was 22-24 for 500 yards passing. I am going to try Todd next time and see what happens. I also need to get my music uploaded so I can have "War Eagle" and other songs playing during the game. However, there are so many freakin' plays to choose from and so many buttons, it is going to take me awhile until I get comfortable playing on the normal level.

Total noob question:
How the fuck do I sprint in this game? It's not covered in the manual. It used to be "X", but that isn't working.
Also, is anyone else having trouble returning kicks? Note: this could be a byproduct of my first problem (no sprint).

Ah...this will help my game. I want my old familiar settings. I hate when they go and switch shit up after you're used to it.
And you fuckin' kids get off my lawn.
