Title: Auburn Defense
Post by: Birmingham on July 10, 2009, 05:34:33 AM
I just drafted Auburn's defense in my fantasy league.  I feel pretty good about this pick.  What say you?

(by the way, I know this isn't post worthy but when a thread about a billboard reaches 5 pages, we need something new to look at.)

Our first 11 are solid but after that we are lacking experience.  Couple of key injuries and you could be boned.

Auburn's D was hard as hell the first half of last year.  What changed?

3 and out.  3 and out.  3 and out.  3 and out.  A NFL pro-bowl defense would eventually tire out and give up yards if they stayed on the field the entire game, every game.

Depth!  People keep harping on our offensive depth...particularly the OL...you only play with 5, and they take all the meaningful snaps...Defense is where we're really thin and it matters now.  Like someone else said, the #1s are good, after that nothing.

I'd stop short of calling the back-ups "nothing".

Ok, but we don't have much on defense.
