Title: Two AU players take medical hardship....
Post by: RWS on July 01, 2009, 05:27:30 PM
LB Da'Shaun Barnes - Has a recurring hip problem first encountered in high school. This leaves AU with 8 scholarship LBs right now. Three of those are incoming freshmen.

DL Andre Wadley - not sure exactly why, but apparently last year he had a heat related illness and then went into kidney failure. Maybe you guys knew about it, but I didn't. Thats some serious shit right there.

Not flaming or anything but you fuckers just can't catch a break when it comes to injuries. I hate it for the kids that won't get to play anymore, but they seem fairly upbeat about their situations. Hope everything works out for them.

We lost a linebacker?  Good lord....  Not going to be fun on defense for a while.

Andre Wadley was already believed to be leaving the team a while ago.  He had a heat stroke before last season that was pretty bad.  I remember at one point the doctors were just trying to get him walking again.

Yeah, and I thought Alabama was in bad shape at LB a few years back, but 8 total LB with three being true freshmen? Fuck that. You guys better hope and pray that Freeman is every bit and beyond what he has been made out to be.

I know where you can get a pretty good one from Dacula, Ga.  He'd have to sit out a year, but he'll be good to go in 2010 if you can keep him off the sauce.
