in Gadsden, it's an R/T, Black, Dodge Charger with custom stripes and #21 on the front. Oh yeah, it has Dre Kirk on the back corner panels.
Uh Oh

No idea on the stories behind this as I don't follow or put much stock in the rumors on Alabama, but here are the pictures:

Man, I told the REC to stop putting the name and number of the receipent they're giving the chargers to. NOW WE'RE SHIT OUT OF LUCK!!!!!!!

I'm surprised it took you guys that long to find those pics. Saw them on an Alabama board a few weeks ago. Again, still no worries about this. It seems Alabama may have learned something from the NCAA in the past. All UA athletes have to fill out a form declaring vehicles and consenting to a title search. Is it not OK for a kid to get a car from his parents for graduation?
Spin away!!

Noooo. We'd be crazy black helicopter chasing barners to question how Dre Kirkpatrick from Gadsden got his Dodge Charger, after all the rumors that you yourself (and every other bamer in the world) tried to tell us we were crazy for taking stock in a few months ago. There was nothing related between uat players, Gadsden Alabama, or Dodge Chargers then. Now there's a blatantly obvious link (again with uat's arrogance), and at first bammers try to say it's photoshopped, then when that theory goes out the window, it's obvious that his parents (a preacher and a government employee) bought him a $30,000 car for a graduation gift. Not only the car, but they went that extra mile and dished out the cash for that custom flamboyant paint job.
Sounds like a textbook example of a "Big Lie"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Lie\ (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Lie\)
The Big Lie (German: Große Lüge) is a propaganda technique. It was defined by Adolf Hitler in his 1925 autobiography Mein Kampf as a lie so "colossal" that no one would believe that someone "could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously".
I'm not saying that I know for a fact that this is the damming evidence it appears to be. I am just saying shut the fuck up for your own sake, and realize that it doesn't take a lunatic to wonder what the fuck is going on here.

You get a new car! And you get a new car! And you get a new car! And you get a new car!

Also, rws, the pictures weren't on a bammer board two weeks ago. The guy that took the pictures, posted them on the 19th of June....two days ago. So, go crawl back into that little hole of yours, plug up your ears, close your eyes and repeat "there's nothing to it" over and over and over.

There was a thread on tidefans two weeks ago with pictures of it. Damn and you say we have little brother syndrome. AU fans are walking around parking lots looking for cars. Are football players not allowed to get a car from their parents for graduation? If an AU player has a car built sometime over the past 8 years can we assume that AU gave them the car? Whats good for the goose.....
-

So you guys have been formulating damage control since then, eh?
Damn and you say we have little brother syndrome. AU fans are walking around parking lots looking for cars.
I guess that was one of the talking points you went over on tidefans. Because a fucking Dodge Charger with "Dre Kirk" across the back and "21" on the hood doesn't stand out like a sore thumb. Damn, someone must have been OBSESSED with the tahd to notice that!
Are football players not allowed to get a car from their parents for graduation? If an AU player has a car built sometime over the past 8 years can we assume that AU gave them the car? Whats good for the goose.....
I'm not repeating myself because of your poor reading comprehension skills.
-
This one is easy. Dre Kirkpatrick only signed with Alabama for money. Dre Kirkpatrick's dad was given money by REC members to buy the car. Dre Kirkpatrick didn't really graduate, but the REC member who is also a teacher at GCHS didn't want to look obvious by giving him the grades and the car, so they let him take an online class to get eligible. The NCAA clearinghouse, who is ran by a member of the REC, went ahead and cleared him to enroll at Alabama.
Dre Kirkpatrick is a cheater. Dre Kirkpatrick's dad is going to hell for taking money from a REC member to buy the car. The REC member who coerced a preacher into taking illegal money is going to hell. Alabama is going to be given the death penalty.
That should just about cover it.

None are as blind as those who fail to see.

Argo dont forget his mother was given a job at a law firm by a booster as well.

So please tell us. How exactly does a preacher at a small humble Gadsden, Alabama church afford a brand new $30,000 Dodge charger for his 18 year old son? Keep in mind, this is the same Dre Kirkpatrick the bammer media was pumping human interest stories about when he signed about how he came up from a rough neighborhood to make something of himself. On top of their financial status, does Dre's child support for his two year old not take a substantial chunk out of his (and his family's) spending cash?
Why have rumors been circulating since he signed with Alabama about this very allegation, and every bammer in the world laughed at the idea that any bammer recruit even had a Dodge charger, or that pictures such as the ones in this thread could possibly exist?
You're telling me it is pure coincidence that those rumors started up months ago, and now it has come to light that the Gadsden native uat recruit drives a Dodge Charger? It doesn't appear fishy that his parents spent approximately their yearly salary on a car for their son, a DODGE CHARGER in GADSDEN, at most a few months after he signed with the tahd, just as a graduation present?

Got a couple questions for you guys.
1) What is Dre's fathers salary? If you don't know, how can you speculate as if you do? The pastor of my 190 member church makes a $85,000 salary.
2) Why is it so hard for you to believe that a black family from gadsden bought there son a car. Try if you want to say that this isn't your hangup with the whole deal but it absolutely is. It seems like a stretch for most of you to believe they could buy their son a charger, why?
3) What if they can't afford to buy their son a charger? Aside from the enormous amount of money they have now saved by Dre getting to go to college for free let's assume they still can't afford a dodge charger..... have you ever known anyone in this country to purchase something that's outside their means? What if, and this is purely speculation, you may have bought something in your life that you didn't have the ability to actually pay cash for and that stretched your budget more than it should have. Man, that sounds completely far stretched.
-
Argo dont forget his mother was given a job at a law firm by a booster as well.
No, that was Jerrell Harris.
-

This is the most absurd argument I've ever seen you try to justify. They spent apporixmately their yearly salary on a car for their son? That makes sense, because you obviously must have the exact dollar amount for the car in order to drive off the lot with it. There's no way possible that he could go to a bank and come away with a loan payment on the vehicle. That's impossible. The economy is just so bad right now that people just can't afford an extra $350.00 month car payment. Just impossible.
-
And for the record, none of the earlier rumors regarding chargers and Gadsden had anything to do with Kirkpatrick. Red charger with white stripes was Jerrell's.

1) What is Dre's fathers salary? If you don't know, how can you speculate as if you do? The pastor of my 190 member church makes a $85,000 salary.
I am specualting based on the fact that this is a quaint church in Gadsden, Alabama, not some mega-stadium church in Atlanta.
In addition to this, it has been played by the state media that he was a poor kid making it out of a poor neighborhood to make something of himself.
For example (first one I could find in a quick google search):
http://highschoolsports.al.com/news/article/1008504994/birmingham-news-super-senior-gadsden-citys-dre-kirkpatrick-is-no-1/ (http://highschoolsports.al.com/news/article/1008504994/birmingham-news-super-senior-gadsden-citys-dre-kirkpatrick-is-no-1/)
Changed his life:
Kirkpatrick comes from a neighborhood where his mother can cite a couple of his early friends who saw their lives swallowed up by the streets. They found the wrong places and wrong influences and now they no longer come around her house.
2) Why is it so hard for you to believe that a black family from gadsden bought there son a car. Try if you want to say that this isn't your hangup with the whole deal but it absolutely is. It seems like a stretch for most of you to believe they could buy their son a charger, why?
You're the one dropping the race card. Nowhere was it even hinted at in this thread that that has anything to do with the questioning of this kid's financial background. Don't project your bigotry on me.
3) What if they can't afford to buy their son a charger? How many people do you know, in any economic bracket, that have bought a brand new car in the last 6 months with the current economy the way it is? Quit acting like every lower-middle class family in Gadsden, Alabama is buying up DODGE CHARGERS like baseball cars.
-
That is not a 2009 charger.
-
And for the record, none of the earlier rumors regarding chargers and Gadsden had anything to do with Kirkpatrick. Red charger with white stripes was Jerrell's.
Thank you. Which makes it even more fishy.
Not one, but BOTH recruits from GADSDEN, AL recieved DODGE CHARGERS shortly after signing with the tahd. After all this controversy and as you percieve them "unfounded rumors", it comes to light that the player from GADSDEN, AL whose name was not even mentioned in the original controversy does indeed drive a DODGE CHARGER with his fuckin name and jersey number custom painted on it. Nothing fishy at all there...
I guess the REC was too focused on covering up Jerrell's Charger, to worry about Dre calling blatant attention to his.
-
Not true. Only one recruit from Gadsden has a dodge charger.

Why didn't you bring this up when the original Chargergate threads were emerging?
At that time you knew for a 100% fact that no recruits from Gadsden drove chargers.
-
Why didn't you bring this up when the original Chargergate threads were emerging?
I did. I made challenge after challege for Prowler to post a picture of the Red charger with white stripes.
Give me a minute and I'll try to find you some links.

Well than don't speculate about what he can afford if you don't know how much he makes. Is that so tough to understand?
You're the one dropping the race card. Nowhere was it even hinted at in this thread that that has anything to do with the questioning of this kid's financial background. Don't project your bigotry on me.
Just trying to figure out what motivates you to say he can't afford this car since you've already admitted that you don't know how much money his parents make.
How many people do you know, in any economic bracket, that have bought a brand new car in the last 6 months with the current economy the way it is?
People who don't have to pay college tuition bills.

Because I know that you can't/won't view that thread....
Whatever helps you sleep, rws....you just keep telling yourself that. What if someone were to tell you that someone did, in fact, have video evidence and that it's been turned over to the NCAA....or, Jerrell Harris has a Red Dodge Charger with white stripes, would those be things that are thrown against the wall? Or, maybe, Bobby Massie or someone close to him contacted the NCAA when the person that gave him $20K, to commit to uat, wanted it back when he decided to commit to Old Mrs.? Would that be considered thrown against the wall to see if it sticks? I know that those rumors are just that, rumors....until proven. But, if I were to say Coach midget is part of the Mafia and that they're getting money together to stop the NCAA from investigating, that would be considered throwing crap against wall to see if it sticks.
You get the video evidence of Jerrell Harris and a Red Dodge Charger with white stripes, and I'll get a picture of the car he actually drives around in Gadsden.
Also, that's the 3rd different version of the Massie story that I've seen posted by an AU fan. I'm sure all 3 versions are true, and we'll be getting Probation to the 7th power.

I missed the part where you said "I do, however, know that our other recruit from Gadsden, Dre Kirkpatrick, does in fact drive a Dodge Charger."

Here's something...rws, one of your own mouthbreathing brethern (He's moderater on one of your bammer boards) has stated that Jerrell has a Dodge Charger and that Dre had one, but that it was on lease and he gave it back...coincidently right around the time the Gadsden rumors started hitting the internet. Also, the Dre Kirk Charger has been circulating for about a month now and until the 19th of June, no pictures had been seen of it.
Here's a quote from one of your own:
It wasn’t Dre Kirkpatrick that was driving the crimson Dodge Charger this year. It is Jerrell Harris that has been driving the Charger since last year.
LifelongBammer (http://www.trackemtigers.com/2009/5/15/876791/gadsden-area-car-dealership-raided)
BTW, that poster has been a police officer for over 20 years and stated that he has worked as a fraud investigator, he also lives in Gadsden.
Also, Argo, you might want to go to your own boards to see that Jerrell does have a '07 Dodge Charger, before you come to an Auburn board and open your yapper. Here's one bammer board that talks about Jerrell's Charger http://forums.tidesports.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/3631098265/m/6961030088/p/1
Here's a Longhorn board talking about it.....but, yeah, it's all just us Auburn fans that've been talking about it, LMAO. http://forums.tidesports.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/3631098265/m/6961030088/p/1
-
I missed the part where you said "I do, however, know that our other recruit from Gadsden, Dre Kirkpatrick, does in fact drive a Dodge Charger."
Don't worry Chizad....the bammers will just keep changing their story, eventually, they'll say that they knew about all of the other rumors and that there's nothing to them, because their faithful leader Mal Moore has spearheaded an investigation into it and found nothing...lol.
-
I missed the part where you said "I do, however, know that our other recruit from Gadsden, Dre Kirkpatrick, does in fact drive a Dodge Charger."
That thread was from March. At the time, I didn't know that Dre had one. I'm still not sure he had it then.

Since you're from Gadsden, you know that city has been littered with recruiting scandals and other topics of gossip that go way deeper and more dangerous than Old Maude at the hair salon.
Don't act like this shit isn't fishy.
Here's a chain of events:
1. Rumors start over recruiting practices in Gadsden. The rumors are that people connected to Bama are buying players.
2. All three top recruits from Gadsden commit to Alabama.
3. Rumors start up that Dodge Chargers were used to sway recruits Bama's way.
4. Bama fans deny any of this happening and act like Auburn fans are crazy for making up these rumors.
5. People claim to have documents that can prove these Dodge Chargers were once owned by a rich REC member. These documents were sent to the NCAA and Paul Finebaum. Finebaum admitted that some of the documents in his little package contained reports on VIN numbers of Dodge Chargers. He did not, however, say that the evidence was damning; just that it could be if the NCAA were to investigate further.
6. Bama fans continue to deny any of this to have ever happened.
7. Pictures of a Dodge Charger with the words "Dre" and "Kirk" and Kirkpatrick's number "21" painted on the car make their way around the internet.
8. Now, Argo, has decided to shed light on this Dodge Charger. Dre's driven it all along, and from what he's heard, it was a graduation present.
9. Kirkpatrick's parents do not seem to have jobs that allow their children to drive such vehicles, but we're to assume that they can and are willing to pay for it.
:taunt: Give me a break, guys. These "baseless rumors" are coming to fruition.
The next step in the whacky and crazy little brother rumors is a 2nd PLOI. I guess when that comes out, it'll just be the NCAA double checking to make sure Alabama didn't violate the rules. Just routine inspections.
Hasn't Bama been on probation 14 of the last 17 years? And we're supposed to think Bama has kept the shit wiped off their ass? :fu:
-
The NCAA can save a little time and postage by hand delivering the PLOI to Bama when they meet for the appeal of the textbook scandal. You know, what with postage going up and all....
-

Chizad, what do your parents do for a living and what type of vehicles do they drive? I will let you know if your parents rob banks or not depending on your answer. What do you do for a living and what do you drive?
Damn, my dad works at a paper mill in Mobile and my mother delivers papers for the Mobile Press Register. They both drive new vehicles less than 3 years old, own a new boat, and live in a nice house on five acres. I guess they're knocking off banks and shit too. Since when is it up to you to decide who can afford what? Shit, lets list the vehicles AU players drive and what their parents do for the sake of fairness. This shit is just like I've been saying, its getting a bit out of hand with fans. Its none of my business what anybody's parents do or how much they make. Its none of yours either. Some of you are just so pissed off that Alabama is having success in something that you can't stand it.
I work for a city as a dispatcher/jailer and my wife is in school for her Medical Assistant license. I pay child support as well. What kind of vehicles and house can we own according to you?
-

The do seem like a frugal bunch.
On point though...it makes perfect sense that a guy who "struggled just to make it" going through High School with a kid and a child support payment to boot could afford a new car just after signing on to play for bama. I don't understand why the rest of you can't see that.
-
Buzz, I don't think anybody's claiming that he's paying for it.

#8 is BS. That single tidbit is exactly why I tend to not believe anything posted by an AU fan. The rumors change daily, and most of you make crap up to fit your conspiracy theories. I never once said Dre's been driving it all along or that it was a graduation present.

This is not exclusively about the kids socioeconomic status, although that further supports the fact that something is fishy here.
This is about DODGE CHARGERS in GADSDEN, ALABAMA suddenly being driven by ALABAMA RECRUITS.

2)GADSDEN, ALABAMA\
3)ALABAMA RECRUITS
Did it sink in yet?

BULLSHIT! It seems your argument hinges on the fact that his father is a preacher and his mother is a government employee. You're hanging your hat on that by making the arguments that you have made. Also, you're not answering my question. You have decided that you are now the judge, jury, and executioner of what people make and what they can or cannot afford. You're the one that opened this can of worms, now answer my questions.
-What do your parents do for a living and what do they drive?
-What do you do for a living and what do you drive?
-My dad works for a papermill and my mom delivers newspapers. What kind of vehicles can they afford?
-I work as a dispatcher/jailer and my wife is a student. What type of car and home can we afford?
You made the statements that his parents should not be able to afford this car based on hearing solely their occupations. Why can't you answer my questions based on the same information?
Again: GOD FORBID A KID GETS A CAR FROM HIS PARENTS FOR HIS GRADUATION! Rather, God forbid a recruit that AU fans are sore over gets a car for his graduation. The simple fact is, as I have pointed out in other threads, is you are so pissed off that Alabama is having success and Auburn is at a low point, is that you are desperate for ANYTHING to try and reverse this trend. You have taken a Prowler-esque approach to things. Hell, I don't know why AUN banned you; you seem to fit in quite well with their line of thinking. Is it that hard to fathom that he got a car a month or so ago, some AU fans knew about it, and then decided to go ahead and say UA had something to do with it? Its not all that fucking difficult to make up a message board rumor. Also, show me the pic of Dre's cousin driving a Charger. I will take Argo's word on this one.

rws did.
And you said...Then you provided a link that didn't include anything about you saying you knew about the Dre Kirk charger as you had claimed.
You left out one quote.
That thread was from March. At the time, I didn't know that Dre had one. I'm still not sure he had it then.
I'll make it more clear. At the time of the Chargergate threads, back in February-March, I didn't know that Kirkpatrick had a charger, which is why I didn't mention it. I did, however, know that Jerrell WASN'T driving one, which was the rumor of choice then. Red charger, white stripes.
I didn't know that Kirkpatrick had one until a few days ago. I still haven't seen it around Gadsden yet, but I'm not going to deny him having one when there are already pictures of it with his name on it.
-
Since you're from Gadsden, you know that city has been littered with recruiting scandals and other topics of gossip that go way deeper and more dangerous than Old Maude at the hair salon.
Don't act like this shit isn't fishy.
Now that I've read the thread again, exactly what recruiting scandals has Gadsden been littered with?
-
4) Dodge Chargers that were said to not exist and that all the Auburn fans were just making it up
I generally don't believe shit I read on message boards. I don't believe AU rumors I read on Alabama boards either, for that matter. I'm pretty much equal oppurtunity. All I ask for is proof. Now I see proof in the form of pictures, and I'm fine with that. Apparently there were some folks that knew a Charger existed. Its easy to, at every point thereafter, to come up with your own reasoning as to how it came to be. You guys, especially you, like to try and accuse us of cheating or wrongdoing at every turn. With Dre it has ranged from grade changing, to money, to his mother being given a "job" at a lawfirm in Birmingham, etc. You guys accuse us of widespread cheating on basically any high profile recruit. When some found out he had a newer Charger, it made everything thereafter easy.
I'm not worried about it. UA participates in a voluntary program where signees' vehicle information is submitted to the NCAA upon enrollment for all of its student-athletes. With that goes vehicle information, chain of ownership, and title searches. If there is an irregularity, the NCAA will catch it.

So I repeat:
If you 100% knew beyond any shadow of a doubt that there were no Dodge Chargers by any recruits then, how do you 100% know beyond any shadow of a doubt that this one that was just brought to your attention through photographic evidence is the only one now?
Even if it is a fact that Jerrell doesn't have a Charger, it doesn't mean that he never did.
DODGE CHARGERS
GADSDEN, ALABAMA
ALABAMA RECRUITS

There are an insane amount of variations to each story. I think he is asking exactly what details are we talking about since you guys never can seem to keep your stories consistant.

I guess since I am halfway bald, it doesn't necessarily mean that I ever had hair in my lifetime.

DODGE CHARGERS
GADSDEN, ALABAMA
ALABAMA RECRUITS
Jerrell NEVER had a charger. The red charger with white stripes was completely fabricated. THAT, and only that, was what I challenged over and over for the last year.

I'm not asking for rumors. Townhall states that Gadsden has been littered with recruiting scandals. Not rumors of scandals. But full blown scandals. I've lived here all of my life and I don't remember any scandals.

Jerrell had and still has a Dodge Charger.....go ask one of your own, who has stated that he has had a Dodge Charger, the poster lives in Gadsden and has for 20 some odd years as a Police Officer and a Fraud Investigator.

Is that all it takes to make a relevant argument?
I live in Gadsden, and am a Sheriff's Deputy.
If I knew all I had to do was announce my profession to have a stronger argument, I wouldn't have wasted all of these post trying to use logic.
:flag: :flag:
I give. Dre's parents can't afford a Charger, Jerrell was given a Charger, and Alabama will be given the death penalty in a matter of months.
I always liked Mark Richt, I guess I'll start pulling for Georgia.

Hello, Gene Jelks.

Hello, Gene Jelks.
Exactly. And according to Bammers, Carnell Williams as well.
Gadsden is gossip city of the state.
Also, regarding this thread -
1. Sorry for mixing up RWS and Argo.
2. Make like a tree and go fuck yourself.
