Former Auburn University defensive tackles coach Don Dunn, shown here demonstrating technique during a practice prior to the 2006 season, was hired Thursday at Auburn High School as a defensive line coach. He will also be an ISS instructor.

Isn't he vested? He probably doesn't need the money, figured he could coach and not have to deal with stress anymore. My guess anyways.
-
He better beat Opelika and Smiths Station or his ass will be out of there, too.
-
The funniest part if this to me is he is going to be the ISS teacher at AHS. I cent picture Don Dunn sitting in the ISS room everyday with students. I am willing to bet their will be a drastic reduction in the amount of kids who misbehave while in ISS.
-
Stupid question. What is ISS?

In School Suspension.
You wanna be tardy multiple times at Auburn High School? You wanna talk back to your teacher?
Well, you can bet your ass that you will be doing some up and downs followed by some gaspers this weekend in ISS, and that'll teach ya.

Tubbs assistants continue to impress.

No knocking Coach Dunn, guys. Easily my favorite coach on Tuberville's staff.
He probably didn't want to take his kids out of the area , and he has some real estate he's invested in.

I would think so, maybe he wants to put more years into the RSA?
Anyways, I have always heard what a good man coach Dunn is, so more power to him. I do feel bad for those ISS shitheads......Damn, I couldn't imagine being in ISS with someone like him monitoring.

He was quoted on DandB as saying he just loves the Auburn area, and didn't want to leave. Best of luck to him.

Don Dunn was one of the better ones...he usually produced solid DL play. And no, none of them got vested...it was one reason Tubs wouldn't fire any of them I guess...suspect this move is partly for that reason. He may also have kids in school and not want to move.
