shortly. The posters that were able to make it down there have stated that all of the Big Dawgs, that were able to stay for the festival, were having a blast. It was stated that after nearly all of the trees on the corner were completely covered, the prospects started rolling each other. After about the first 30 minutes of the rollin', Eric Mack showed up with his parents and HS coach. Coach Troop yelled that Eric Mack's new nickname is "C-M" as in "Crowd Mover", because of the way all of the fans parted to let him through. Word is there was about 100+ fans there, not including the prospects and the current players.

It was awesome. I left Crawfest at Touchdowns in order to make it over to downtown. Gotta love entire chants of "come to Auburn!" and Lache yelling "Saban's SOL" as he hurls a roll of TP.
These coaches know exactly what they are doing and I can't wait until the season gets rolling. There were current players there too. I know I saw Bynes and Slade and a few others.

I'd heard that Lache's comments were made after someone yelled out Ladarius Owen's name. I'd also heard that Kendall Simmons was there too. Also, the number of fans that were there, was said to be more around 200, instead of 100.

I overheard an exchange of words between Mr. Fortt and some unknown guy. The guy gave a 'War Eagle' to Khairi Fortt. Khairi looks at him with the deer in headlights look and Mr. Fortt tells Khairi to say it back and that its ok to say it. Khairi looks back at the guy and says, "War Eagle?" and shrugs his shoulders as if saying, did I say it right? Then Mr. Fortt says something to the effect of, "This is all new to us. We dont say things like that in Connecticut. War Eagle, War Anything, we just dont have anything like that back home. But I guess we should go ahead and get used to it."

Yeah, kinda reminds me of a certain AU player that remarked that AU should beat Alabama by a good amount of points in the Iron Bowl the week before. And a certain coach holding up 7 fingers as he walked into the stadium.

Again, I think the overall concept is great. Great concept, its just everything after that is a little weird. Cake eating contests? Pie eating contests? If I saw UF, USC, etc doing it, I would question it as well. Something tells me you won't see anything like that on their campus.

Good, I hope they don't do anything that the prospects like or have fun at doing. Also Lache was responding to one of the fans, that he heard, yelling out Ladarius Owen's name, when he said "saban is SOL".

Just like stars didn't matter when CTT was getting it handed to him in-state and elsewhere? When we were bringing in #1 recruiting classes? Like how CTT was fine with diamonds in the rough and would just coach them up? Like recruiting didn't matter then, but now, oh you're fuckin right it matters? Please. Alot of AU fans did whatever they could to downplay the talent we have brought in over the past two classes with all kinds of bullshit. Oh, but NOW, now it matters since you guys perceive that you have an advantage. Alot of AU fans have done an about face on recruiting in the last 6 months. NOW, apparently, stars and rankings are important. Rankings are not biased or incorrect if it is AU receiving attention from somebody that is highly regarded.
